We also have a nice dividend coming up again minimum 6p. It would be amazing if they match it with the one we have just had. Even if they don't we should be looking at increase on next year's dividends. what would be nice is total dividend of twenty pence next year

I may appear to be fickle, but at the end of the day i made a mistake and did not research this enough . For me the amount i purchased and subsequently added to does not sit easy with myself fwiw.
However i have reduced to a more sensible level and will hold these for the long term. As i posted before i do not find their trading updates reassuring as they do not seem to have any plan on how they would mitigate the headwind going forward. Also their dividend schedule is bizarre to say the least inmv. Two dividends stacked in the first half of the year. In summary those are the main reasons for me reducing my holding.

Same old cr .p with this Duffer. Time to move on for me. The more I research this the less it appeals to me. As the saying go fools rush in where angels fear to tread

All of this is orchestrated inmv. Either to facilitate this so called merger or to make it easier for a larger player to buy this is or both parties in one vile swoop.

Nice drop again today . I think we all no why. Bit of a shame that we only get valued on some merger using our cash. Hey ho thinking of approaching the bod offering a higher bid using all Sericas cash.

Bottlenecks with planning as per the last trading update together with skilled labour shortage and a squeeze on margins re materials. I understand that part of this out of the companies hands,but it would be useful to know how they anticipate dealing with these issues.

If they changed their dividend policy by spacing them throughout the year then this may help inmv. Together with an open plan as to how they are addressing current issues. Fwiw that is what i would like to see as i anticipate holding this as a lth .

Maybe the solution is to have two CEOs . Kist have already suggested ACW chairs the new group so they are partly there. This together with an an increase in the cash element would swing it for me as both Ceo's would compliment each other inmv going forward. One for operational and technical experience and the other for growing the business with future acquisitions.

Any spare funds will be used to pay the house brokers and new advisors to either facilitate or fend off the resent approach.so the last thing the bod will be doing is additional business.inmv and inmho and no one's else's as a individual etc.

Inmv the problem here is not so much to do with market sentiment, but the lack-lustre response from the bod. For me what beggars belief is why they did not explain to shareholders as to how they would address the issues which are a concern going forward.
Also the dividend situation is a little odd as it is all stacked towards the beginning of the year
