ARCM True Value29 Aug 2020 07:58
Dear all. This is my first post after being here for an age and I have no ulterior motive, it being my first post, before everyone goes off on one. I read but do not contribute, but felt the need to do so on this board.
You are selling yourself way short. You all know that these BB are read by companies big and small and yet you continue to talk about 5p and other amounts big and small. Now, imagine you are all in a company on the "shop floor" and news is rife that management have agreed to give us a pay rise. If they keep hearing the workers saying I will be happy with an extra quid an hour, then you have set the bar going forward. The likelihood is that you will only get an extra pound or even just below. But if you are taking about 5 quid per hour, now management know a miserly offer will not suffice.
I am not saying they will agree a price based on what we are saying but similarly we are setting the expectation. Let us talk about real numbers or avoid mentioning a price all together.
A Tier 1 asset is described as "company making mines"...they are large, long life and generating $300-600M pa of revenue for 20 years or more - ref: minexconsulting. So assuming you only want to believe parts of this statement, what value does that put on ARCM if we are saying "we believe we are sitting on multiple Tier 1 assets". So I ask the question, 5p per share, really folks! circa £50M for "Multiple Tier 1 Assets".
I agree the delay in news is due to negotiations based on results or allowing AA to digest the results first under the DD agreement. They have a confidentiality agreement and if the negotiations will lead to a deal, then yes they will withhold results for a reasonable time whilst talks continue and a potential offer is made. This may even mean the results of the holes are never announced if the offer is acceptable to the board. Let's not try to second guess the price. We bought for profit, we expect significant profits as do all the research analysts reports I read on ARCM prior to investing in the share-thank you to them.
I am of the belief that we may all be pleasantly surprised. Yes, AA paid 5.5p per SXX share, but they still paid out £405M not £50M. SXX, in which I had a chunk invested and was up more than £200K at one stage still needed to trump up $3.8B to complete the project. $3.8B more and yet they were bought out for £405M.
Have faith in your board, go back and listen to the conference call again and feel the emotion, the excitement and the expectation. These guys are successful in their field of expertise and according to many posters, very conservative. So read through the lines and stop selling yourselves short. I am confident those who are actually invested here will be very happy with the eventual outcome.
