the way to go about claiming the tax back is on their web site. you cant claim back tax on divi payments inside a sipp but you can inside an isa and i think you can wrap three years together. so my aim is to take the divi tax forms from HL and then ask an accountant to do a one off fee based completion and send off, if will then be worth while.

Yes I know. My intention is to claim back everything in my isa account in one go every so often, you can build the claims up and submit one case. I have to ask Hl for the divi certs which they will supply and submit, hoping once I’ve done it then second time onwards becomes easier

I seriously think a dollar divi of 35 cent is possible this next year, I’d be surprised if it stays the same and generally I think we are up to around 27 cent annual with special divis taken into account. So I expect an increase, if we hit 23p divi, appreciate tax but based on sp I paid we are looking at a 20% ish yield! Too good to not invest, of course could be too good to be true but let’s wait and see. Gla

If they ever get close to the 12.4p annual divi the amounts at the moment against current sp of course are huge.

I’d be looking at an 18% yield, huge divi and great position, of course lots to do before this however you get the sense and possibility this company is very much focused on getting there

The deal in fact may already be done but this is all theatre to show neither side gave in. It’s all about fishing, one of the smallest economic impacts but biggest social and cultural impact throughout the whole of Europe. If Europeans can’t fish in our waters their industry will be decimated. Likewise I appreciate there are other things we need so hence a carefully choreographed deal showing equal wins. Politics not pure negotiation, neither side cares that much about the outcome compared to themselves

I like the rise on a pretty mundane day of no great momentum. We are staying more easily above £2 and maybe consolidating abit. I’m thinking 25p divi not $ and that gives me a 14% divi which I think is more than possible if not more.

Like the message below, I can’t really see where the cash could go bar divi as selling price and volume are very good and only getting stronger

its a long process, a long way to go and i don't expect now any at all result, response or signs of a really positive uplift some time. its just been ages and years that we have started to become used to however sticking with it, good sign the business is actually still trading and on a stock exchange.
