The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Unfortunately we’ve been banging our heads against the wall for a few months now.
One mans trash is another mans treasure - if the market wants to sleep on it, that’s fine. When it does eventually rise, we will reep the rewards.
@Leister have you got your planning permission sorted for the 9 bedroom stately home you can build with profits from this?!
I’m with Leister on this one - those hoping for a quick P&D have moved on. Less drivvel on the forums now & less unjustified hype. Someone taking a £200 punt and spouting rubbish in the hope of a quick profit while furloughed, those days are over us now. Welcome aboard Myles, 1m buy yesterday. Hopefully we see some positive news at the end of this phase, which I’m sure we will.

Nows the time to hold strong. Hibernation and a steady hand is key. Don’t panic sell at the first Info - positive news elsewhere won’t directly cause negative news here. As @Leister said, Nigel competently placed Nuvec in multiple sectors, all of which will have competition to varying degrees.
Another cycle of 6-4p, will be interesting to see where it settles when all placees have sold. Can only sell once, so hopefully things trend upward over the next few weeks.
It’s certainly not a fast paced move, but it will eventually click into place and bump up considerably
Much quieter than I expected after this mornings RNS, id say we have another few cycles of 7p to 4p before we get lift off.
Opportunities to top up in the next 10 weeks may present themselves however it will be the last before things go skyward
Time will tell
Leicester, the P&D brigade will shape the future share price until anything concrete is announced, I know you’re in quite deep with N4P & it’s all about the long game. I look forward to reeping the rewards when the P&D gang are distant memories!
I think the evidence is there to show potential. But as it stands, it’s exactly that - potential.
Unless you get in early, it will always be too late to fully capitalise. But bear in mind the price was slowly creeping before the 50m share addition, 15 to 25p is probably the upper limit based on hype and it’s liable to drop if this dies. As soon as Evotec come with some news the price should rise and maintain a new base, which will be much higher than the recent 4-6p
I’ve a few quid built up in here over the last while. Most I’ve paid is 7p per share.
Realistically I would expect £0.30-0.40 in the short to medium term and £1-2 in the medium to long term with a positive outlook on the impending RNS
Unfortunately a lot of the prices are dependant on trends and rampers. It can be volatile and can shift upwards very quickly if the wind catches the sail on Twitter, influx of buyers hoping for a quick flip.
I’m in for the long haul, but won’t hesitate to sell if I feel it has reached its ceiling in the future
