For those holders needing a bit of strength and hope on a day like this, there's a good interview with Saietta's management today on Vox Markets - link on the advn chatline. They come across very well to me.
The nagging worry I have is that the company may run out of cash before they've gained self-sustaining commercial traction. Does anyone have a view about this? - it's the only reason I can come up with for the unexpected share price decline these last 6 weeks.

I'm not taking a pop, but your point is well made, I stand corrected on the clothing segment, which is up 0.4% month-on-month and 5.8% down on a year. Meanwhile general retail is 1.2% up month-on-month and 8.4% down on a year. So it is more nuanced than I gave credence but still bad.

Not fair about my other comments. Firstly, at least I do comment on other shares; secondly I am honest, brutally so; thirdly I agree, I have taken too much risk in my portfolio in 2022 and made some bad investment decisions (expect I'm not the only one, not that that matters); fourthly (and most importantly) I hardly ever comment on the ones that have worked, why should I, they worked! I could list the ones that are working/have worked, but I'm not going down that rabbit hole with you. Point is I almost exclusively comment on the ones that are in trouble.

Level, that one is compared to the same month a year ago. The ONS is month-on-month.

Actually, trading, I have looked at the detail of the stats. I can find nothing referring to clothing separately, could you post a link to back up your assertion that clothing was actually up in September?
If you care to go to the source of this data, the ONS, you'll see that in September 2022, retail sales volumes fell by 1.4%, while non-store retailing (predominantly online retailers) sales volumes fell by 3.0%. So, no matter how you spin it, online volumes declined faster than general retail in September.
You also say online is maintaining a 'very healthy market share', but that's not what the ONS actually said, that's your interpretation. The ONS actually said "The proportion of retail sales taking place online was 26.4% in September 2022; this has remained at a broadly consistent level since May 2022". So online's market share hasn't moved since May.
It's noticeable to me how you disregard so many factors, including macro factors, as any kind of influence on Boohoo's appalling share price decline. As the bad news rolls in, you just ignore, dismiss, or reinterpret. Like a broken record, it's always market makers and shorters in your world. I'm sorry but such a blinkered approach has not served you terribly well, has it?

Weak figures on recent UK retail sales, especially online sales, released today. The sector takes another leg down this morning. Never ending misery for Boohoo holders, a very long slog from here.
And then there's news that compulsive liar Boris, reportedly on holiday at a £13K per night resort, may return. Desperate times - this is the real 'Black Friday'.

I've put my money where my mouth is: topped up at 367p.

Can't see anything wrong with it but, I suppose predictably, the share price drops 10%.
Cyclical value, secular growth, investing-wise nothing works atm.
Nobody wants to buy this company any more? It's cheaper now!

It does appear to be in free fall - it was 700p in the frothy days of Feb 2021.
The harder question to answer is why?
Is it simply valuation compression? Sentiment towards companies that can't sustain themselves in cash terms? Doubts about the company's progress and operational performance? Thoughts welcome.

That's a reasonable take. ESYS is surely the future, but my concern is the risk I take while waiting. Even the cash balance may not prove sufficient defence in the context of (say) 2 years of losses.
I'm also thinking, as I said before, that Furness can't support the share price with any further purchases without breaching the 30% limit, forcing him to make a mandatory offer.
I don't know, I do like the company and the space it's in, but I've cut my losses and will watch from the sidelines. Good luck if you're invested.

Delayed negative reaction to yesterday's Full Year Results.
I've been de-risking my portfolio of loss-making UK small caps, and ESYS looks like another prime candidate for culling. My worry is I have no feeling or sense of what might prop up the share price.
What's stopping me from selling is the knowledge that the company has net cash of £24m on a market cap of just £30m...
Think eventually the company will come good, but could still drop substantially from here in the interim.
Tricky one, this decision.
CEO Mark Furness is on 30%. Am I right in thinking he's limited to 30% and can't buy any more without bidding for the whole company?
