Re-calculated value of shares: 388p based on today's WTN sp and CLN sp. Therefore, sp trading on <50% of market value...

Well I'm very pleased u got me interested in coal - have been buying up CLN & CBM big time recently but wish I had been involved in WTN (an extraordinary share over last 6 months!) & CZA. Starting to have a look at EBG now as soon CBM will own 50% and there will be a further takeover. Good luck yourself too!

£500k sell late today kept sp down - can't be long b4 they finish their sell off. Current equity value of shares is just over £3.60!

Hugely undervalued sp - these should fly now that CLN takeover announced. These shares are actually worth close to £4 - maybe they will reach their potential this year...

Takeover close to predictions (was hoping for 3:1 rather than 3.25:1 but still a nice earner). CBM shares are actually worth close to £4 - held back by a few companies selling shares as they must have been short of cash. CBM now transforming into a producer rather than an investment company. CBM shares should fly upwards soon.

Thanks for the compliment but I'm just on my learning curve (but ur right about Chan). CLN are estimated to be producing 2.8m tons coal (metallurgical and thermal) next year compared to approx 5m tons (metallurgical) by WTN (and look at sp of WTN!). CLN do need some investment but could do very well even without takeover by CBM. It appears that coal prices will remain high for some years. Hoping for some news soon - either upate by CLN or result of CBM bid for takeover.

Have been burnt by a few oil companies over last 3 months or so (but learning on the way). I have taken profits on this one - perhaps a bit early but these small oil companies are such a high risk. MOG keep a constant drip of positive info and there were rumours of a takeover (not sure if there is any substance to this rumour). Expectations are very high for a good result - a mediocre result could lead to a drop.

There has been some suggestion that we would find out this week but I don't know if this is reliable (one of the posters on ADVFN site). I still think this is a good share to buy up to 60p and a possible chance of £1 return depending on (a) share ratio with CBM - expecting 3:1 and (b) expected increase in CBM sp once deal completed. Would hope for news by end of month anyway.

UBS Wealth Mgmt (UK) now have 8.1% of CLN. Not sure why sp is stagnating - am holding and waiting.

Recent news was good! Seems to have taken time for market to respond.

CBM offer details may well be within next 2 weeks (estimate from ADVFN site). CLN worth >60p per share without bid and substantially increasing coal output atmo.

This was a good result (I believe) - read comments on iii website about EEN.

Excellent results in today's RNS - was especially impressed by: "Well testing operations were conducted and during a 6 hour flow period, oil flowed to surface under natural flow at an average rate of 2,041 barrels per day through a 24/64 inch choke. The flow rate was restricted by the well testing equipment, resulting in a pressure drawdown of less than 10 psi at the reservoir. Preliminary analysis of the downhole pressure data indicates the same excellent reservoir properties as seen in the other Khurbet East wells."

It would seem very unlikely that CLN will turn down a takeover from CBM (especially as CBM are very closely tied to this company and have members on the board). I understand the CLN board are meeting (minus CBM members) to decide on what share ratio is acceptable. 3 CLN for 1 CBM had been suggested (gives CLN shares value of >60p) but remember CBM shares are grossly undervalued & with current sp of WTN, CLN etc they are worth >300p - and should reach this after successful bid for CLN. Therefore, each CLN share may well be worth equivalent of £1 soon after takeover. An alternative is buying CBM shares but smaller gains.

Nice climb today but two big sells of £130k each recently gone through...

Many thanks for you comments. EBG 23% owned by CLN and 27% by CBM (so will be 50% CBM after CLN taken over). EBG looks a good long-term bet - CLN for the short-term gain though.
