I guess when I said the sp may hover for a week or two I should have added that MMs might shake the tree a few times. Disappointed that I have already topped up as would liked to have made the most of the last 2 treeshakes.

CBM currently valued at 59% of total assets according to current sp and that of WTN and CLN.

The sp may hover for a week or two before the next two developments. July 14th is date of CLN meeting and would be a huge surprise if takeover does not go ahead. Even at today's CBM sp this will value CLN shares at nearly 99p (a lot better than it's current 92p). I had expected a dip with CBM sp last week rather than this week but the news of bidders for takeover of WTN probably prevented that happening. Today seems more of a treeshake than a dip as most of the decrease corrected by end of play. The less predictable event is if the WTN takeover bid occurs and when. I would suspect CBM are very keen for this to occur and the sooner the better so hopefully some positive news may come out in regard to the WTN takeover in the next few weeks too. Despite the big rise in CBM sp it remains hugely undervalued compared to its assets so 400/500p could be attainable in July/August. Coal (especially metallurgical) remains a very desirable commodity and should be for a few years according to market analysis.

Looks like a little treeshake to welcome in the week. WTN stable/increasing so no apparent reason for drop.

I'm not a day trader so I wouldn't feel qualified to answer that question - but would not be surprised if there was a small increase in sp in the morning.

WTN closed at equivalent of 535p tonight on the TSX so expected a fair start tomorrow.

The quick rise did surprise me too as I had not expected CBM to be acting so quickly and effectively and in such a co-ordinated way to process the changes that they proposed earlier this year. However, I was expecting CLN sp to reach 100 or more. Looking at CBM sp at close, CLN shares are worth 99p and yet can be bought for 93p. It may be that they could reach 120 or more before CLN shares stop trading (end of July) and are then converted to CBM shares at a ratio of 3.25:1 There is a WTN conference this evening so WTN/CBM/CLN sp could be volatile for the next day or so.

With WTN sp now being over 500p and CLN around 90p then a revised market cap for CBM is over 500p assuming that WTN sp holds. It may be that there will be another surge in CBM sp in the near future.

Surprising sharp rise of WTN sp in last hour or so on TSX yesterday. It makes me suspect that there may be some rumours about the deal with the sell off or merger.

CBM will go up more tomorrow if the WTN results are as good as expected. They have 86 million or so WTN shares.

Big discount on CLN shares atmo - they are worth 75p according to current CBM sp. MMs are sleepy again.

Shares worth £4.21 each according to news release from CBM. Increase in sp is inevitable.

The timing of the news for today is not given. I guess it gives a window of opportunity if needed. WTN news has been brought forward to today. My guess is that the news will be on the positive side.

Sp should reach 300p but my guess is not this week but probably once CLN takeover formally agreed or WTN buyer announced (suspect CLN takeover formally agreed by shareholders first). Hoping for sp of 400+ by end of year.
