Sure everything goes in cycles, but the point I as making was that in a rout all shares regardless of how good the company is are pulled down, but those with the best prospects recover quickest. And yes a no deal Brexit would have a world economic impact (not of itself causing world recession)but the nature of the energy market and the need for vanadium has already changed very materially, hence the price increase and the mothballing or cancellation of some chinese infrastructure projects is not going to make a material difference to the price of vanadium, or to bmn prospects even if it were to fall by 30%, which I doubt.

Unfortunately it is the nature of global rout that everything gets dragged down. A US correction was inevitable, but I have no idea whether this is the begining or the end. What I do know is that stocks can rise virtually as quickly as they fall, in particular those that should never have been affected in the first place. Whilst the herd mentality drags everything down, investors overall are savvy enough to sift the wheat from the chaff, so overall things will be o.k. for bmn holders. Vanadium is and will for the forseeable future be in demand and no trade wars or interest rate hikes will affect that in any material manner

Whilst I agree 100% with your comment Cindertone, and I have used the strike period to top up, the price will not strengthen until the strike is settled as there will be many who are "worried" or indeed have set silly stops to protect? themselves. Once the strike is settled which could be any time the price will rise significantly as none of the good news is factored into this price.

This article certainly implies that a deal has been done subject to Energy Ministry approval. There would be little point getting approval unless a deal had been done, because the Energy Ministry for sure would then want to know the terms of the deal and given that they have been talking for months this also implies that an agreed deal is ready subject only to the Energy Ministry.

The appointment of John Lyttle as Chief Exec is great. There is no way he would have accepted this appointment, if there was any evidence of any poor figures on the way. To the contrary in my view it is a heads up that things are going very well, contrary to what some of the derampers on this bb would like to hope.

I wasn't a shareholder back in March. I have gone back and read the RNS. The problem I have is that unless there was already a binding agreement the value of the Solitz asset has gone up significantly since then so £6.4m will no longer be adequate without the issue of BMN shares as well. Is that correct or am I missing something?

This debate isn't getting very far. Clearly there is a lot of disappointment with the trading update, and rightly, as a whole heap of issues were ignored. From that we can only deduce that little if no progress has been made in that particular area, not that it is dead. In terms of the SP, as recently as 25th July the sp was 41p, so all that has happened is that the excesses of the previous 3weeks in anticipation have been wiped out, and we are probably now in oversold territory. Even the LOAM sale immediately before the results was of a very small percentage of their holding. If they were that concerned as has been alluded to, why did they sell such a small percentage? think about it. N had already in the previous report highlighted as a risk that this US corp might dominate the company. THis co is a risk, but sufficently good for a US corp to plough millions of pounds/dollard into it upfront. Even the likes of Apple and Google wouldn't do that without proper due diligence. I will remain long.

I haven't contributed to this board for a long time, although read it regularly. Current negativity is understandable but patience is required. The figures were less good than anticipated and not for the first time a significant fall in sp was inevitable, BUT a single piece of news could see the sp quite easily rise by 30% overnight. When I have no idea, but it will happen. I am sitting on a significant loss, but it is much smaller than at christmas and I took the opportunity to average down and my ISA holding is actually significantly in profit. Only pi's can choose, but I will wait for the jackpot. Generally pi's sell at the wrong time and this has been shown time and again.

At the time it was reported it came out s a "sell", in fact it was an earlier buy, late reported. With that size of sell the sp would definitely have taken a tumble. Some fund or institution is preempting the rise that will come going into the Q2 results in September. It's worth rereading the last trading update. There is no reason why the Q2 results won't be just as good and the sp will then be on a different level. How high, difficult to predict. It would not surprise me to see a £3 sp by christmas. Worth a good party. DYOR

LSE figures are up the creek. On the face of the totals given you are right, but if you look at the detailed figures sales massively outnumber buys. Indeed the number of sales in the summary is pitifully low, just over £30k's worth. Can't be right.

I don't for one moment believe PLT and Boo customers have stopped buying because of Brexit yet. If they lose their jobs they will.

I agree with that as well, but at least Boohoo is international, to quite a large extent and more so as time goes on.

If you look at any brokers target for anything in hindsight they are nearly always a million miles off. They tend to look backwards and try to extrapolate as opposed to looking at fundamentals. For my part I have tended to ignore brokers targets. Indeed my father believed in doing the opposite. On the whole where the fundamentals are right time will ensure that profits are made. Patience is key. Rome wasn't built in a day and BMN has already advanced very significantly since 1st Jan. Brokers in due course will play catch up, and still be behind the curve!
