Pdub, reading Fortune's note I suspect that listing on JSE is several months away, there is no intimation it is imminent, so hopefully the SP will be very materially higher by that time. Now that BMN is a member of AIM100 the Q4 results should get greater publicity.

zeusfuria- whilst I agree that the FCA would likely take weeks/months to deal with this, ignoring it is just an invitation to MM's and others to continue. It is not just a threat to BMN shareholders but many across the AIM market. Alfa has clearly got this difficult subject well and truly between his teeth from his exhaustive work which has educationally been great for many of us on this BB. Manipulation is a criminal offence, but the FCA can only act really if its nose is pointed in the right direction otherwise how are they to even know/suspect. Whilst no accusations should be made, a setting out of perceived facts and illustration gives the FCA the ammunition. At the moment we don't even know which MM's are involved, that is for the FCA to determine.

Thanks again for your analysys Alfa, goes a long way to educate us all in the malevolent ways of the market, which we just have to ride out until an RNS lands on the table where the demand significantly outweighs the sales. At the moment there is no buying pressure. However stupid it may seem there will always be some selling, and currently supply exceeds demand. Simple. As you yourself have said many times this could change at any point in time, but like any AIM share it will drift in the meantime. We could get an RNS any time. The main point is that the BMN fundamentals are excellent and therefore the absolute latest for a major rerate is the announcement of Q4 earnings. Personally I wouldn't take the risk of trying to trade this share in the hope of getting in cheaper on what is already a bargain basement price.

Ophidian, PDub,Knuttie et al, I value all of your posts and I would rather you didn't fall out over a few unwise words, which will always pass over. Look on the bright side of this morning's RNS, since the shareholders only own 76%, we effectively only suffer 76% of the fine. Luckily with today's cash flow it is peanuts, but I do feel it was a ridiculously large fine for the value of the company at the time the offence was committed. So be it. It will be lost and it is a reminder to comply with the rules and hopefully fines will be meted out to a few other companies. What actually happens to the fines that are paid?

pb40- I agree wholeheartedly with your last sentence. I have been using the current slight weakness to enhance my BMN portfolio.
Alfa- With regard to the tame Seller, is it possible that at some earlier point the MM struck a deal with one of the warrant holders at that time to guarantee them a minimum price by a certain date, but with the option for the MM to draw down the shares as they wished. i.e. effectively a double bet from the MM point of view, 1.that the share price would go up,2.that they could get shares to offset the shorting whenever they wanted up to the limit of the relevant pot?

Alfa. Whilst I don't post much I really do appreciate the input by yourself , BBN, FB and numerous others. Over the months I have learnt a lot about Vanadium and have invested heavily for me in BMN. THe mix in the ingredients is absolutely right and as I have said many times, so far as pi's are concerned patience is the key ingredient. On the question of a get together for BB members I think it is a good idea to do it when Fortune is in London to buy him a drink or two whatever the share price at the time. Incidentally I live a very long way from London, but would still like to come and meet him and everybody else.

Alfa, the real point here is that we all know the financial fundamentals with regard to BMN, and whatever the sp is doing or not doing at the moment, it will all correct in due course, and Q3 results maybe the catalyst. Until then patience and use the interim as a buying opportunity

perhaps he has a short position, it is mere speculation, nobody knows. I watched his interview and certainly you wonder why SPAngel are the broker. The only possible reason that i can legitimately think of is that Fortune for whatever reason wants to keep it low at the moment, and wants to see an orderly upward trajectory. As a lth that is fine by me, as I am not selling anytime soon!

just for your info Alfa, the 2 50k trades at 11.13 and 11.17 were mine and both were buys, whereas one is shown as a sell.
