Come on Vela. If you cannot be bothered to give us some new worthy communication, then at least give us a quarterly update.

As a former holder of SXX i am not that enthusiastic about this appointment. Let's hope us PIs do not get thrown under the bus like we did with SXX.

They cannot just pick and choose what information they release. good or bad if the news is price sensitive then it would have to be released via an RNS. We are long overdue a EH update but i am sure they are not just keeping it back.

I think it's very simple. When Bill Brodie was in charge he has just been overly enthusiastic with his time lines because he is a geologist. We now have a CEO incharge that is actually aware of how long it takes for these things to get all paperwork and permits in place. Same with the AA deal, it's not something that happens overnight. The SP probably will drop further in the short trem. I am definately a worse trader than investor though. So will stay invested and maybe add a few more if money allows me too.

Have you asked Vela Bigdave 13? I agree it does not add up.

We sold some Code in January at £2.40. I expect if we start running out of money and there is a slim chance of their wages not being paid then they will sell more Code.

Why bother giving us a strategic update and was this purely Laikers doing.
If so, then do I assume all we will do is now sit on the current investments until our money runs out.

As it was previously suggested by another poster. I expect Laiker voted in the favour of JN before handing his notice in. Ensuring there was no way he could be voted out.
Should we not have had our latest quarterly report by now. Its over 3 months since our last one. These quarterly report where only brought in to try and enhance comms and the relationship between the BOD and PIs. They have certainly not done either.

I personally think UFO are on to a winner, hence I am holding.
What I do think though is it will not be quite as quick as some has first thought. There where numerous comments on here stating, wait till September/October 2022. This will be a company defining time for UFO and there will be numerous updates. We have had updates but have seen the SP slide. It's fairly obvious when one of those updates happened to be a placing and another was equivalent of a duster. What we do have though is a new CEO that is slowly working out the priorities and trying to make deals. Also investing a big chunk of his own money. If he is succsesful then I expect we maybe in the1. 5p - 2 p range this time next year. Who knows though what could happen in the world between now and then. Its still a gamble but I like the odds at the moment.

It might not disappear but it may never have a conclusion. It was a big gamble and it failed.

I suggest you read the final results RNS regarding the SGS trial.

The directors estimate that the contract will not be realised within 12 months of the reporting date and so the asset has been classified as non-current.

Excellent summary Thegambler. Can I also add that Vela and SGS also released a RNS stating that they expected to make a commercial deal "almost immidiately" after a succsesful trial declaration.

Unfortunately today's RNS plays right into the hands of certain posters on here. For a while now we have been told that we would be shovel ready in early 2023. Todays RNS would suggest that there is no chance of this. Also for the 60 day agreement with AA to have not even started yet is shoddy at best. I am actually suprised we did not drop further today. Not selling a single share and will add if it drops further. Far from impressed though.

Yes he did look like the main driver for change. Probably because he was holding so many shares and wanted to see a better return. That's what baffles me most how he managed to sell for 0.04p. Obviously did not see a the SP getting anywhere near that level anytime soon.

Reviewing the quarterly report is about there only job now a days. People are selling for 0.015 today. Just when you think the SP can't get any lower it falls again. It's been pointed out a few times that the value of our assets is way below our current market cap. At some point it has got too stop dropping and might actually bounce back up to a fair value. At that point I will cut my losses and sell my remaining shares. If only we could all sell out for the 0.04 special director price.

I think we where all hoping the silence was due deals being made in the background. It looks like the silence was due to there being nothing significant to report. Also looks like we will not be shovel ready early 2023.

I doubt Vela would be affected. We are due the next quarterly update any day. Let's hope they can be bothered to put it out on time and it includes something new.
