As always with vela it is still unclear exactly what we are invested in when it comes to AZD1656. As far as I know the big investment of 2.35 million was for Covid use only. The investment in Igraine was to keep us involved if AZD1656 was to be used for anything else.

Maybe they have made a secret investment that we do not know about. They could not be bothered to tell us about selling shares. Highly unlikely they are bothered about buying shares and not informing investors.

We have only got £500000 left in the bank and have managed to burn £125000 in 3 months. At this current rate will be out of money this time next year if they just sit on their hands and do nothing. If they would like to average down, then they would have to sell shares in either CODE or Ensillica. Or dare i say it raise further funds at a discounted price.

There may be money to be made if you invest directly in CSFS. As a Vela investment its almost a write off.

Joe Bloggs, with respect, i am not sure why you're so keen on CSFS. We would need a monumental rise just to get our money back. Even if it trebled in price, i doubt it would have any effect on the Vela SP. As i type we have just gone red again.

The Board will therefore be consulting with its advisers on how it might engage more effectively with its shareholders and will also be engaging with shareholders in order to understand the reasons behind the voting results.

I believe this is why the quarterly reports were brought in to try and engage with shareholders more effectively. July 22nd was the last one, so we are way overdue. Pull your finger out Brent and co.

The silence is worse than ever now. I really do not know what more can be said about our BOD. It has been one mess up to another and now topped off with their mate exiting the company and manging to sell his shares for more than double the share price. No explanation and still no quarterly report.

Since the publication of the last quarterly update on 3 May 2022, the board of Vela has met with the boards of the following investee companies:
· Aeristech Limited
· Cornerstone FS PLC
· Igraine PLC
· Skillcast Group plc
· TruSpine Technologies plc

They are claiming to have met and had discussions with the BODs of the companies we are being invested in.

James Normand, Executive Director, said: "We consider TruSpine and its products to be a perfect example, both of the type of business and of the disruptive potential of its products, of the type of investment in which Vela was established to invest"

Well, he was right for a change. Truspine is a very typical vela investment. Continues to drop in value and will soon be worth very little money.
