I am not sure any of us would have predicted a no news January. If 2023 is going to be a transformational year for UFO then they need to get a wiggle on.

Yes I agree. 10 tiny trades on Vela would suggest it's not related. It does however back up my original point. Might be worth considering swithing to CIZ for better exposure to AZD1656, if that's the only reason why your Staying invested in Vela. Somebody seems to think it's worth loading up over there and AZD1656 is a very small part of what CIZ holders believe will be the company maker.
If you believe in Velas investments and JN/Brent then ignore my CIZ ramblings. I am still invested in here for the time being.

As if by magic CIZ have just released a holding RNS. Somebody seems to be loading up. Is it Conduit related? Who knows. Be nice if it was.

Surely there is a junior me member of the team that is assigned to answering emails. As I suggested they could easily answer cjmorleys email with reference to the June RNS. Would take 1 minute to write and go along way to enhance investor relations and clear it up.

It's all guess work because the new UFO BOD can't be bothered to inform us what us happening. Has the Heritage application been made? What exactly is happening with EH?

Nice too see they are actually doing something. However, following my usual pattern of being negative towards anything Vela. A loss of 9.2 million last year, great. Also, if it does turn round its only £50000, alot of money too me but even if it doubles from here. Its hardly ground breaking and will take alot too recoup the shockers of SGS, Cornerstone and MODE.

It Is the BOD. I doubt if they have even struck a bat since the last quarterly update. As I have said before, they are just sat babysitting our current investments. They still get paid regardless of the SP or portfolio performance. Brent is close to retirement and JNs reputation is already shot. They are just taking the easy money whilst it lasts. The fact they let there mate back in for a few months just to recoup some of his losses was shocking.

Exactly what I have been mulling over for the last few weeks. I am only still invested in Vela incase the AZD1656 trial comes good. Ciz look to be better placed and will return more value if a commercial deal is agreed. Most investors in CIZ are not invested because of the SGSC trial as that is a very small string to their bow. They are mostly invested for the early detection in cancer tests.
The recent rise in ENSI should really have increased our SP here but has had zero affect and shows how low the sentiment is in Vela.
Not a cross ramp or trying to get people to switch to CIZ as I am not currently invested there, yet.

It's been a tough week for even the most optimistic UFO holders. 4-5% drops in SP 3 days in a row and some fairly large sells. All brought on by the lack of news from our new BOD. I don't think its to much too ask for them to keep us updated on what is going on on our investment.

Normbeef I am not convinced we will see production in 2023 either. Have been holding for 2.5 years and am happy to wait a bit longer but think we are long overdue an update. Don't forget the old CEO first thought production Q1 2023 and this has already slipped. I get that mining is a slow process but also like to be kept upto date with my investment.
I personally preferred Bill Brodies constant updates via titter, ect. He has gone now and we have too see what Rod McIllree is going to bring to the party. Hopefully we find out soon enough.

Joe bloggs. Have you concidered selling your Vela holding for your own sanity. The majority off us holding have averages of 0.06 and above. We have all but written it off. You still have chance of getting out with relatively small losses.

Very suprised we have not seen a increase in our SP though because of the recent rise in ENSI.

ENSI just got too a £1. I have no issue with taking profit along the way. Proving too be our best investment by far. Shame its not reflected in our SP. Just shows what Brent and JN have done for confidence.

I would be suprised if Brent is even aware we are invested in Aeristech. He probably needs reminding he is on the BOD of Vela sometimes.
Every month I lower my exit target for Vela now. My new target is 0.035. Not sure what will give us a double up from these levels or how long it will, take if ever.
