Definately been very long sighted in my near 3 years of investment in Vela. I can very easily see 81% down in my portfolio.

No, is the simple answer for me. I do not trust the BOD and I certainly don't think he cares about the private investors.
What I do think he cares about is getting a return on the £500000 he has invested of his own money.

In what should have been the best year so far regarding news, this has been our slowest. Easy too see why people are getting frustrated.

And some on here still think BF and JN are competent and this will come good.

Probably because we have all forgot on what a UFO RNS looks like.

I agree that Bill Brodie was maybe a little too enthusiastic but think the new regime have gone too far the other way.
Personally, I prefer too be kept in the loop with my investment. If there is nothing too report then fair enough. I do however agree with Bob on "what exactly are they doing on a day to day basis then". They are being paid to make things happen too then give things too report.

Unsurprising we are down again. You can't just keep quiet and expect shareholders to be happy. Bob, Chris2 and myavian may have reason too be constantly negative as they would like a lower buy in price. However I am a LTH that is far from happy with the performance of our BOD.

I see it a a big plus that Aeristech has not IPO d. Look at what's happened too most our investments. At least £350000 is still £350000 till it IPOs and tanks.

Not exactly small volumes. There has been some very chunky sells today. Yes I agree about Rod McIllree. Not been very impressed so far at all.
Hopefully he will change my opinion and quickly. We might be able to buy in at the same price he gifted himself shares soon.

Markets a bit more positive today and iron/metals price on the rise. Still we drop in our own SP. Not selling as I am in till production but this is all getting very depressing as we tick closer too the 0.3s.

So we sold a good chunk at 90p and bought some back at 70p?

Will probably still be classified as a non current asset and discussions are still ongoing.

Not sure but we can only go on what we are told via a RNS. They expect nothing too happen from December 2022 for 12 months, hence the non current classification. I did email Vela bout this at the time and this was the response I recieved.
"the directors supported by their advisors have to make a judgement call and following discussion the following as you say was included in the accounts."
I suppose this could change at any time and that's my only reason for me keeping a few million.

From the 15th December 2022 RNS about AZD1656.

The directors estimate that the contract will not be realised within 12 months of the reporting date and so the asset has been classified as non-current.
