Yayay, if all that is true then that is the kind of news that I expect to be kept upto date with. Are they just sat twidderling their thumbs till we get the approvals and results we are waiting for.

The BOD are paid well to be making things happen which then means there is news to release. We can only guess that they are working behind the scenes as so far they have nothing to show for what they are being paid to do.
As smiler says, there are more ways to update investors than RNS releases.
We should know more by the end of Q1? Why? Just guess work as we have been told nothing.

It's more than 1 month since meaningful news. A potential deal with AA and buying lots of cheap shares where fairly quick to come after his appointment. Since then we have had nothing of any substance. I said the jury was out on the new BOD. So far I am still very unimpressed. My opinion only before the Rod love brigade jump on me.

Exactly the same transaction I have made this morning. Holding only a very small amount of Vela now and re-invested into CIZ.
Have kept a small amount here. Just incase JN and Brent decided to resign. This would see a welcome increase in SP.

I would be much happier to invest more money if I could buy at a heavy discount too the SP. Rod Laiker bought alot of his shares at 0.3p and 0 35p. Yes, £500000 is a decent chunk of money but it also means it could drop alot further before he is actually under water. It's very simple. Just release a RNS telling us what stage all our projects are at.

In fairness, a slug could have predicted this going down further.

Hard too argue with people getting bored and selling out. The news flow for the last few months has been pathetic.

Let's hope the prices are this high or higher in 10 months when we start selling the stuff.

Many of the misreable feckers, as you put it, predicted the minimum we would get to in SP on a failed AZD1656 trial would be, 0.03p.
Yet here we are at 0.015p on a successful trial declaration.

Why would they revamp the website with new time lines if there is going to be no heritage or mining licence granted this year. They would just keep quiet and not update the website.
I am not a big fan of the new CEO and think he is way too quiet but you are just making things up.

The majority of the country is out on strike because they are overworked and underpaid. Brent and JN are the exact opposite. They are highly paid for doing nothing. Let's stop moaning about it on chat BBs and try to do something about it. Now Laiker has gone then surely we stand more chance of calling an EGM and having them voted out. It's our money not theirs that is decreasing day by day. The time for action is now or we will still be discussing how useless they are when the SP is trading in the 0.009s and below. We may not be succsesfull but at least we will have done something about it.
Before anybody says"who would we replace them with". Quite frankly, my pet fish could go a better job than these 2.

I doubt the collapse of MODE has much to do with the SP here. In the last few days our free ride in KNB has doubled. In the past few weeks our investment in ENSI has increased significantly and yet our own SP goes down.
Without going all Joebloggs about it. Brent and JN should either be booted out or resign. That is the only chance of any positivity returning too Vela.

Hard to argue with the initial point though. So far they have delivered nothing. Butter it up all you like. The new website is lovely but has only confirmed we might be mining Q4 2023 if things go to plan.

Q4 it is then. Not too long in the grand scheme of things. Hopefully now we start getting some news flow too make this a reality.

Looks like we will be heading back below 0.5p. Painful to watch in the short term but hopefully the wait is well worth it.

I have sold all but a few million. Have left the remaining shares in just incase. We are currently trading below what are cash and holdings are worth. Next mini spike then I will take the remaining shares out. I took a punt on this AIM share purely because of JNs repution and stayed invested because of the supposed succsesful AZ1656 trial. I believed there would be a commercial deal immidiately as they told us so via a RNS.
Another remininder that I am way too greedy and should take profit when its available. If there is no mini spike then so be it.

Thanks Bigdave13. I did not realise it was a meeting just too extend the time line on the deal. Nothing too see there then and another reason why it's highly unlikely anything will come of the AZD1656 trial.

Exactly. We dont need pointless RNS releases with no content as this would probably cause more moaning than saying nothing. Not difficult to keep us upto date on social media though. A bit like answering investors emails. They must have a more junior member of staff that can update twitter and answer a few emails.

Bill Broadie may have got a little excited and carried away at time. But I preffered his regular updates and comms.
