Yes, it's great news about the Pfizer vaccine and probably more trials from all the other programmes will be successful too. However there's a long road ahead to get millions of vaccines authorised, produced, frozen, delivered and finally people jabbed up. With this government's record on PPE, exams, lockdowns, the app, eat out, track and trace, 20% infected isolating, etc. I'm afraid I have zero confidence that we'll be back to anywhere near normal life for two years at least. Sorry, but think of the logistics of it all and then think how many mistakes this Gov have made already. Airline companies will bear the brunt of this and anyone flying will need to produce proof they are not just Covid free but immunised ... it'll be a very long time before flights are anywhere near pre Covid levels.

Looking at where the SP was when RI was announced and where it is now the RI has been an unqualified success for all those who took their rights. Now RR are fully financed with 5Bn extra to ride out Covid with a slimmed down workforce. Add in the positive that we know a vaccine can beat Covid and more are going to be announced very soon. Add in that RR are into Green energy nuclear reactor building as a sideline. I'm sure after the redundancies they'll have kept their best people so all in all a great long term hold. Hopefully seen the last of the shorters over the next few days.

Hmm, they screwed up big time. At exactly the time when people wanted to trade they couldn't and I also see there are lots of reports of multiple trades going through that investors didn't want. It even made the national TV news. The platform failed. They will lose clients.

Daytradenovice - I know you have no interest in RR and are just trying to troll me but I just laugh as I've done fantastically on my trades with RR. For every share I had I get 3.33 shares in the RI so unless RR really seriously tank once RI shares allocated I will make a killing. I expect more vaccine trial results will be out in the near future which might help the SP again. The demand for RR recently has been phenomenal.

JH92 - Yes you will get the new RI shares. I sold all my original RR shares yesterday and none right now in my account but I know a few thousand 32p Rights shares will appear soon (tomorrow hopefully).
