It's just like a dividend. You could also say dividends aren't helpful as they decrease the SP once they go XD. Banks were told not to issue dividends this year due to Covid. Santander found a way round it with this rights issue. The new shares are received on Dec 11th but should be able to trade the rights to them before that date - not sure when though - I thought the rights would be tradeable by today. I would expect an SP drop of about 8p/9p as soon as the rights are tradeable. So, if you have 1000 shares you will get an extra (1000/23) 43 shares worth about (43*2.07) £89 on Dec 11th.

These 53K deaths are IN ADDITION to the flu deaths you chump. Over 1.4M deaths worldwide and you said "there will not be multi thousands of deaths". Also thousands of people in UK (millions worldwide) with other illnesses have died as they couldn't get treated due to Covid taking up hospital capacity. You're still defending that quote - amazing! With the majority of RYA's current Boeings already sitting on the tarmac doing sweet FA but depreciating and costing parking charges, I doubt RYA are in much of a position to do anything until aviation picks up again and all the experts (even CEO of EZJ) are saying that's years away. Much better places to invest than travel for the foreseeable future.

Given the previous A* results from Pfizer and Moderna its a pretty poor B minus from Oxford. Markets will downgrade AZN.

Will the cash burn never end? Despite vaccine progress, experts are already predicting summer 2021 will have less capacity than summer 2020. Oh dear, and we all know what a disaster 2020 was.
