Good to see it bounce off the lows this afternoon but I feel the no deal Brexit may hurt these more on Monday after which I'll probably buy in, if they hit my target price. I don't think no deal is priced in yet.

Interesting debate. Countries obviously must lower Covid infections. There are strict restrictions on entry right now in many EU countries and as we've seen from 1st January this will get tighter. It's nothing to do with glass half full, these are just facts. Vaccines as you say will take months to roll. When (finally) vaccines are up to a certain level countries will need to protect themselves. They will want to see proof that travellers are "safe" - i.e. have had the vaccine or at the very least a very recent negative test result. So, in future it will be a lot of hassle to book an overseas holiday and then to endure whatever restrictions are in place in the country you go to.

Canary Islands which were exempt now moved back on to quarantine list. Thousands of Brits face Christmas isolation. Personally, I think anyone holidaying amidst this Covid carnage is an idiot and deserves all they get.
