Suggest you look at the webcast Hexam if you haven't already. Not all about FCF - get the bigger picture. But as Oke said they deserve credit for decent performance and cost management through tough times. US DC is gong to be a gamechanger and they'll need some capex (which they've got) to market that. There's lots of opportunities to grow going forward and the cost and delay headwinds are abating. They're getting all the foundations in place for big growth.

I also watched the webcast which is available on BooHoo's Investor Relations website if anyone is interested (link below). The management team seem serious, positive, sensible, committed, confident and competent and the foundations are being laid for a very promising future. Lots of opportunities ahead.

Sold half @226 for a decent profit. Still got the other half in. Probably buy back on any weakness.

The real question is : Do you still think the slight delay in reporting results is (and I quote):

Yep SP slipping as expected. Shame they've wasted all that spare cash on buying their own shares at inflated values too. Might have a punt myself soon.

The RNS does mention a bit about Easter and May BH but still not good enough. If you want exposure to this sector, probably better prospects with Fullers, Youngs or Mitchell & Butlers. Check out their updates and compare.

I'd want sales up 20% at least. I read the results as disappointing considering the headwinds of inflation, interest rates, rail strikes and rising wages, taxes and supplier costs. As someone said compared to other pub chains the results are poor and need to get that debt down quick.

DayTroll your 30p prediction for today was well off the mark. So sorry the results weren't what you hoped for. I really dont want to sound negative here but I think you need to consider the idea of getting a life.

Nothing to do with the shares being 247p (up 62%) from your recommendation to sell at 152p is it ? Hope your Mrs appreciated being woken up for a 3am dash and back to The Cotswolds and Worcester to see both sets of parents - sounds like a lovely day out.

Carbon zero retrofits for council properties is going to be a big money spinner over the next few years. I see it's starting already. Good to see Mears are in on this early and likely to take a big slice of the action both public and private. Govt is likely to penalise bodies not doing their bit for the carbon zero push. Mears focussing on this arena is big positive in my opinion.

Where is DayTroll ? I was hoping for some more of that comedy gold about quality. Maybe I'll have to wait for a 3am post.
