that I would look to buy back in to CEY if it went below a pound. I have had a good look at it today, and have to say that with gold falling still, I don't think buying is a good idea yet. I will take another look at 90p. Commiserations to all who have been caught out by this unexpected reversal. In the long term, I am sure it will climb back up again, but as to when, I couldn't say.

Chartist, it is good to know that in addition to the kudos you think you gain by "commentating" on KAZ, you also perform a useful service to the world by trading, revealing the true value of shares to the deluded.

Badgernator, in a recent study of haelth systems around the world, the NHS came out as the best value for money. Where you are absolutely right is that it's actual health outcomes are not particularly good, but theoretically that could be sorted by putting in as much money as other coountries do.

Well CC, an interesting set of policies. I am not sure exactly how practical they are. No doubt there are criminals of the kind you describe, and may be always will be. A large number of inmates have mental health problems,are addicted to druge, are illiterate, or have neurodevelopmental conditions. They mainly need help, but come out trained for a life of crime by the prison university system (run by the inmates) or with extremist views

Well prisons are quite a good example. The current problems are at a private prison (Birmingham) but there is no particular evidence to suggest public prisons are better. What is important is good funding, more sensible sentencing (more community sentences) and good regulation (needed in private and publc sectors).

I think Churchill (or whoever) gave people until 30 to become capitalist. Just a good conservative slogan in my opinion rather than a piece of wisdom. People who noticed that the 2007/8 crash was caused largely by a particular kind of capitalism didn't even need much in the way of brains to spot the problem.

CC you are stuck in the 1970s when everyone thought they had to choose betwee capitalism and socialism. What need is a sensible mixture of both. I am quite old and started as a liberal and then shifted to the left. There is no conflict between buying and selling shares and wanting a state education and health system. The question is where the balance lies.

Today KAZ seems to be retracing a little after yesterday's excitement as the copper price steadies. We are getting close to the point where the chartist says KAZ will drop back. It will be interesting to see if that happens. I take TA with a pinch of salt, but of course if enough people think it is true, in the short run it will become a self fulfilling prophecy.

My own feeling is that people remain uncertain about whether KAZ has bottomed yet and as a consequence people who are buying are ready to take quick profits rather than holding for the long term. While the day traders dominate, rather than the long term holders, KAZ will remain volatile on a day to day basis. Of course long term KAZ also looks like a volatile share, but the swings take place over a longer time period.
