Are VAL’s products an imagination of the mind? Do we have a 201 and 401 at CT stage? Yes. Forget 101 and 301 at the moment. If I was BOD at this stage with the abuse they have l’d say just run it into the ground. GM said everything on track which makes me think its a lie or the SP is so departed from what is goin on. Anyone invested in jnr bios going from nearly zero to multi-bagger?

For a company with a presentation EO March, this is getting a little desparate and if any good news comes, then l’ll throw some more money at it as a last chance saloon with a current average of 2.5p.

Personally I am not holding on to 1st qtr as delays are always possible but fingers crossed!

I think many forget how hard it is for AIM companies to raise money. Unfortunately they have to be at large discounts and they can’t simply turn water in to wine like FTSE100 companiws can with minimal dilution. The timing of this last placing is interesting.

I disagree Rightback. The path of a jumior bio is a long period of RnD, CT’s and a huge cash burn as there is no cashflow. Boom or bust basically, just like any company until they have a product or service to sell. VAL are exceptional in having 4 compounds all working nicely. If you asked me to invest in a bio startup from incetion I would say no way hose, wait for CTll close to completion.

Excellent post Harley! 100% agree - we only have ourselves to blame. Yes a junior bio will have to fundraise so dilution, plus beggars can’t be choosers when raising cash for a very small company like VAL. They have kept the fire burning and we are nearly there to commercialsie the first product. All news has been positive, but the share price hasn’t..... yet!

Indeed, a confontation between BOD and sh’s just puts a bigger wedge between parties. We have an update due, presentation EOM and 201 trial end in June. All will have to wait on 401 as they won’t murmur a peep until the BOD have something to say - then it will be by RNS. I think GM shot himself in the foot in mentioning the 6 parties in talks for 401, albeit he didn’t give anything away except to say that talks are ongoing

VJ Just email the BOD with your questions. Don’t need a witch hunt. They will only tell you what they can that isn’t price sensitive - they will not tell you about negotiations or how things are going. That is for a formal RNS. An update will be out soon, but they will not be bullied in to disclosing price sensitive information regardless of what share holding uou represent, so wasted effort IMHO, but admire your spirit. If like Align, you become an insider (l believe), then you can’t post here or anywhere, discus and would be subject to regulatory rules on buying or selling your shares. That is not going to happen.

Can I just say that the BOD or any director of VAL will answer whatever questions you have whether you have 40 million shares or no shares for that matter as they have a public duty as a PLC. Does anyone really think they are going to gleam any more insight than what they are obliged to disclose from a regulatory perspective (RNS)? Just email them - simple.

Don’t forget that Plll is the optimum phase to sell on in whatever form, but deals are also done in Pl/ll if prolific results areas ascertained. Mid and large pharmas are shrinking their RnD and looking more towards acquisition these days to leapfrog their counterparts.

VJ They need shareholder approval to issue more shares, which TBH they won’t get unless going underwater and need it to survive. Yes, I think we are on the brink of life changing news for VAL. 101 and 301 fantastic additions pre-clinical but 401 done and the more exciting 201 coming to closure mid-year in its CT. I’m hoping for stop-gap with 401 and then 201 smashes it and slam dunk! Both markets are wnormous value wise and 401 may surprise, but potentially 201 could change us from AIM in to a full listing if what we are told is true, which I have no need to doubt as that would be libelist via an official RNS As for our SCLP vultures, there product is circa 3 to 4 years behind VAL’s timescale. The problem with the trade and sales is that it is all to do with the mid price, so if buying is below the mid, then everything is reorted as sales, as with today.

Gilders - yes and could only have happened on buying imho. Freddy - the buys showing as sells which distorts the picture as we woukd not be unchanged on 3.5mn sells so far. I think as mentioned below the placing was a top up of cash as VAL expected the 401 jv to be finalised but talks maybe still ongoing and frustrating for the BOD as they expected things would be tied up, but wtfdik!

Valju If people (and l’m guilty too) ignore BB’s and simply read the RNS’s and research people would have a different perspective on VAL. The dilution is inevitable until the company has a cash injection, an unfortunate but necessary evil and it would appear we are nearly there, so timing on investing is everything with a junior bio. To put in to perspective we have a -50 bagger that with a Plll 201 deal could be +100 bagger. I am just riding the waves with a paper loss and averaging down as the silver lining is that they have survived cash offer after cash offer and now so close on the brink of commercialisation.

Yes, what made Align change their tune? Given info that made them think “wow, this is going to be big” or were they offered a lucrative research contract to shut them up? We know that a young bio is just a money pot until commercialisation, which is what VAL is, but they must be presenting something if substance or how would they raise the money on each placing. I invested in Dec 2017 at 6p and then have averaged down maybe 4 times now and will do again to get my average down to 1.85p Call me blinkered but I feel VAL will come good this year 201 and possibily 401. If 201 is as good as reported then they may do a deal before Pll. All IMHO
