GP, l take your point but what exactly is the value NOW in CHL here in the current market environment? The stock at present if the suspension was removed is faced with $10 mn dollar debt liability issued by ICSID which means the company is worthless. What's the point? Surely wait until the annulment verdict and then we're good or bust.

There has to be proper and sound grounds / reason which is in the markets / shareholders (and creditors) best interests to continue suspension. It is not an automatic right.

GP, there is nothing illegal and no grounds to sue a company if they think it is in the creditors and shareholders best interest to extend susension for another 6 months with good reasons.

That's the BoD discretion acting in the best interest of shareholders (not cfd / sb's). Ludicrous to return from suspension and start paying operating costs of nomads, reporting req's etc? Best to freeze and wait for annulment decision. That is the market risk those on cfd's and sb's take. Shareholders have comfort of no time horizon risks.

Yes, lets get this right - the timeline is 6 months and thereafter you can apply to the exchange for another 6 months etc etc, rolling it providing there is proper cause / reason for doing so. Yes, had we been BP or RDSB i am sure we there would have been UK govt pressure, but not an AIM company. What we do have is new evidence(?) and a compelling annulment case, plus the forgery verdict now to put to bed and a very red faced ROI legal counsel plus Icsid!

Orbiter, ICSID need to save face and I would use the reasoning that ROI withheld information and subsequently they formed a wrong decision. I'd use ROI as the scapegoat and wash my hands! Adhoc committee to be formed vey soon.

Is ROI LC saying "come on guys, make an offer to CHL as this will save a lot of collateral damage for you and us" ISCID saying to ROI "why lie about Putra's whereabouts, when you knew wher he was and that he was still ROI employed all along" "where did Noor get his jet from?" Pressure from US and threat of ISCID funding tap being turned off Indo political climate becoming untenanble in terms of the $50 bn of overseas mining related lawsuits. ROI shouting at ISCID "why did you shoot us in the foot by referring to Noors statement in giving the award when you struck it out! Now CHL have a compelling chance of winning annulment and we are out to dry as the forgery case is gone and we don't have a leg to stand on!"
