In fact the only compound mentioned was 201 in China. Well done VAL for getting the PR machine going with 3 recent presentations, Edinburgh update soon and two research notes in the last few weeks

If that was the case then we wouldn’t be in advanced discussions on 401. Britishbulldog - I take your point but do you think Goldman Sachs, Numis or Barclays would be interested in a research report on VAL? I would go as far as to say that some of the researchers at these houses probably earn more money in bonuses than the mkt cap of VAL! Beggars can’t be choosers.

Just read the Hardman and Align reports again - l recommend PI’s have a read again to keep focussed. What is noticeable is 3 things: 1. The science works; reading 401 results it was a hard trial to enrol on and we did not need a 95% success rate, but sufficient positive data to open the minds of pharmas that VAL are on to something interesting - they have achieved this. 2. The timelines of milestones / inflection points are more or less what VAL have stated. 201 interim update in this qtr plus possibly 401 license out or JV being positive will rerate the SP significantly - Align first target being 10.28p 3. Dilution is a sad part of the journey for any Bio while there is no cashflow and I feel for those with much higher average prices, but without sounding rude, these people invested far too early. When did they actually think they’ll see shareholder value or a return on one of VAL’s compounds - 2, 3, 5 years from discovery? 401 is now ready to commercialise and maybe a partner might be brought in early on 201 at Pl/ll if the results are good. Both reports state teh company is undercalued as compared to its peers and the only thing now that will change the companies share price demise is capital investment and hopefully 401 and or 201 will provide that soon and then a serious re-rating will be in progress and put VAL on the investor radar.

Moving stock from broker to broker does not need to be put through the market. These trades have nothing to do with Beaufort, they are a clear sale and buyback, perhaps to realise a capital loss or moving between accounts

Not sure but looks good to me - why would you sell and then buyback in a size of £80k if you weren’t confident? Maybe l’m missing a trick?!

Well I guess we just have to be patient now. Sentiment is poor I agree, but that could change on a sixpence with 201 or 401 or even better both being positive!

Well GM in the last podcast seemed pretty confident that a deal will be done on 401 soon, so keeping resilient in that fact / message. The 201 update is pencilled for 4th Qtr so hopefully a repeat of price action as we had in Dec’17! GLA

Yes Andy: 201 update could be a monster! 401 JV could surprise many with a) the deal and b) the timing. Align initial price target of 10.28p per share or 7 bagger.

The selling pressure is five fold IMHO: 1. Placing shares - stock overhang, which when cleared will spring the SP back up to probably 2p - 3p if true. 2. Triggered SB/CFD or stock stop losses, so false market sentiment and maybe Thise affected may buy back in. 3. Those worried about a fund raise which should be about March / April 2019 by the decrease in R’n’D spend, if we don’t have good news before then, plus those worried / selling now may be buying in a lot higher on positive 201 data in 4th qtr, 401 JV deal arrives soon or some other nice RNS which I think the company will announce to coincide with Edinburgh 4. Holders fed up with the falling share price and have lost patience, plus the scaremongering on BB’s could be affecting some peoples conscience and forcing them to sell at a loss - terrible. 5. Those on borrowed time and money having to close.

If its investors then I reckon everyone is already loaded up and rwady in a small cap bio so theyre not going to go crazy and buy more - just satisfied of a good research report If its the MM’s then they run a flat book each day, so makes flying F. Difference to them.

I think we have to distinguish between the various parties: Nomad - they advise on the fund raise method and pricing BOD - do the day to day running and oversee the science US Marketers - employed to get the best deal for VAL Depending on your personal gripes, you need to point your finger at the right party
