Woody from yesterday - 401 is likely to have a cash upfront payment and milestone payments plus royalties, albeit the royalties (the income) won’t happen intil CTlll is complete. That is the normal solution if you read the Align report of similar deals with junior bios, that is unless they do a straight trade sale which I think is unlikely.

What I have noticed on level 2 is that SCAP we the MM that walkwd this down on the Offer, now we ate down to the placing level they have switxhed to the bid. They are controlling the market here - were they instructed by the nomad with the placing shares perhaps?

Funny how there are twice as many buyers as sellers and the price drops - just shows how this is being played.

Noise, I do not remember reading any timescale on 401, just negotiations at an advanced stage, so I was expecting beforw EOY tbh. Where did uou get 12 months from, albeit we don’t know when commercial talks formally began.

Noise, I didn’t know that. Interesting that Valseek is 60% owned by VAL, so any 401 deal could incorporate some deal to purchase Seek outright and take the compound and its patents, leaving VAL with a nice cash injection and a future cut in milestone payments and royalties et al.

Good post Harley and that’s the main thing, if you can grit your teeth and weather the current price action, then just one day hopefully soon, longs will be rewarded handsomely I would hope. Don’t forget that shorters have to buy back!

The share price is being manipulated. Every day the share price gets hit with a 500k or other large order to kick off the negative sentiment witjing the first 15 mins, followed by trolls deramping. The question is who and why? It seems to be SCAP walking it down too. Is it placing shares so stock overhang, another bio or pharma going for a cheeky bid or just nervous sellers who have lost faith?

Andy - depends on how much you believe in the science? If it works and commercial, then Pharmas will want it. Do a Google on oncology and you will see the big pharmas are doing less R’n’D and more acquisition of small bio’s or their compounds. Olderandwiser - don’t remember that but only been here a year invested in VAL, but doesn’t that bold well? Waynesmith - buys and sells if you believe the stats are about 50:50, but this is more about sentiment until we have news. I’m just hanging in because I believe in the science. For me its a moral and financial investment. Gige - cash raising is an unfortunate symptom of a jnr bio until they get to inflection point - we are there just patience I believe. The podcasts, regulated newsflow and recent PR all point to this. Adam - nail on the head my son! No mention of 401 so its going through the commercialisation process. Please can people not keep asking for an update on 401 progress as its not going to happen whilst NDA’s are in process: the company can’t murmur a wors unless they want to go to litigation - sell or keep the faith.

Valju My feelings: 1. That would be bordering on (or is) criminal. 2. Possibly and that is why GM stated that the option to issue more shares if necessary shows the company has to be in a position of strength. 3. Of course, quite normal for any company in talks as it is price sensitive until signed on the dotted line - all doors are closed. Its all about the money! The lifeblood of any company and with the recent PR, VAL are obviously pulling out all the stops to get the message out there. VAL have commercial products to sell, licensce or JV - all waiting on 401 and the update on 201 before Xmas IMHO.

Well I’m sure real shareholders are impressed, but its not share price enhancing news if thats what you mean? £15000 worth of trades today hardly is representative of matters whethwr that be up or down on the day. Stick to the facts, RNS’s and other news from the company. A BB has too many faces with conflicting interests.

Podcast - in the last Podcast from GM he discusses 401 and that they are in advanced discussions with partners (plural) to JV, license out or sell. So complicated discussions and perhaps weighing up the best option for VAL and its shareholders.
