RE: Patent will be accepted23 Jan 2025 14:30
Also as per the RNS of 15-Jan "“While the patent application is meant to protect these innovative applications of the AI Oracle implementation, the core technology for the generation of the Oracle, i.e., parameters to build the AI Oracle generated by the Machine Learning Model C have been kept separate as these represent an asset for the Company which it intends to protect as an industrial secret.”"
This part which ofcourse in unpatentable, have been intentionally excluded (based on response on the previous patent applications it seem). Therefore, might be enough for FG to sell this if they can successfully demonstrate the 30% claimed efficiency.
Also double checking the text on the RNS on 15-Jan, the AI Oracle system only takes up a tiny part of the computing power and energy used by the specialised chips (ASICs) that mine Bitcoin. Specifically, it uses about 1% to 4% of the resources and energy of one part of the chip that handles the main mining process. This percentage depends on the technology used to make the chip. So, adding the AI Oracle doesn’t drastically increase the workload or electricity usage of the Bitcoin mining process—it’s a small, efficient addition. So if it really works and give 30% efficient, then for an expense of upto 4% ASIC space is a good sacrifice .
