I've told you before I haven't got a balanced portfolio, as you call it, because I haven't got enough cash invested in shares to make it worthwhile having a balanced portfolio!! What can't you understand about that? I can see I'm having trouble getting through to you. I've told you before that I only have a tiny amount of money invested in shares so what's the point of spreading it around half a dozen, or a dozen companies? I'd have just a few hundred quid invested in each. Not worth it old chap. Not worth the extra commision, etc. I put the money I got today from selling my remaining LRL shares into buying SEA. Whether that is right, or wrong, only time will tell. I wish you the best of luck with your portfolio, but PLEASE don't keep giving me advice. What I do with my small amount of money is entirely my business and mine alone. I don't tell you what to buy, or sell, or how you should construct your portfolio, or what to do with your money. You come across as someone who is "bossy" and enjoys telling others what to do. Perhaps that's because you are used to giving orders in your employment?
"..the R2S business plus cash/logp should support a much higher sp" I agree wholeheartedly with your viewpoint. R2S is a fast growing, high tech, business and that is not being reflected in the current SEA sp.
"What will happen when in a few weeks time they announce that zjs7 is in fact a commercial discovery which again IMO they will.?" Can I quote your above statement back to you if they don't announce ZJS7 is commercial in a few weeks time? To mix metaphors isn't it about time you removed your rose tinted specs and woke up and smelt the coffee? I made a mistake with a small top up a few weeks ago, but will you admit to a similar mistake with your top ups last week? I've sold all my LRL shares, but will keep it on my watchlist with a view to buying back in at some future time. Presumably they'll have to frack ZJS7 first and then flow test it to determine whether it's commercial or not. No mention in todays RNS of when they intend to frack and flow test ZJS7. Could be next year? After all PA says they haven't yet worked out which zones to flow test. bwtfdik? Good Luck with your LRL investment. I hope I'm proved wrong and LRL bounces back up in the short term. It could bounce back up to 9p in the short term, but I'm only guessing.
I sold all my remaining LRL shares early this moerning for 7.5p after having already reduced my holding a week or so ago at over 8p. Taken a big loss overall (for me) on LRL. Sub 7p could be a good time to buy. It's at a significant discount to it's cash. Hopefully they wont fritter away that money on Zijinshan and hopefully Leyshon Energy wont raise money at too much of a discount. Good Luck to all remaining holders (including Zorns1967!! LOL). I'm hopeful that LRL will prove to be a good investment in the longer term.
I tend to agree with you. The LRL sp could well be flat tomorrow.
I thought ZJS7 would exhibit a total potential net pay zone higher than ZJS5 and maybe higher than ZJS6. In fact at 48m it's slighty less than ZJS5 (54m) and significantly less than ZJS6 (80m). The low resistivity is disappointing. I suspect ZJS7 wont be fracked until next year. Maybe not even next year if, as the report says, they plan to drilling 3 wells next year, but only plan to frack/test 2 wells.
"In addition preliminary discussions have been held with prospective debt and equity financiers with respect to these potential acquisitions and a positive response has been received regarding the level and types of funding which coul d be available to Leyshon Energy Limited. "
You say .. "they have been invited to tender for 25 offshore drills" Read the Quarterly report again!! They have been invited to tender for ONE of the 25 exploration blocks being made available. NOT ALL 25!! The report is also far from brilliant. Now we know why the LRL sp has been weak recently. However LRL have US$38m of cash.
"Up a little tickle today." ????????????? Have you been drinking? LOL. The price never moved all day. Volume was almost non existent today. Only 13 trades today and they were all small!!
You say: "Announcement on the date of the AGM maybe but qtr report isn't due yet." Sorry Masterbaker. Zorns1967 is correct re the September Quarterly Report and you are wrong. The 2011 September Quarterly report was issued on the 1/11/2011 and the 2012 September Quarterly report was issued on the 1/11/2012. Do please refer back to past LRL RNS's. Based on past practice it is more than likely that the 2013 September Quarterly report will be issued this friday, the 1st November. ATB
Hardly any trades so far today. The calm before the storm? 3 x 100k trades. The first 2 this morning (10.46am) appear to be a rollover as just seconds separating them. Looks like a sell at 7.80p and a buy back at 7.90p. The 100k trade this afternoon is a buy.
Never heard of it, my friend.
You'll be pleased to know that I'm off to bed now, so no ASX update from me tonight.
Bargain hunters were buying in the afternoon after the selling in the morning pushed the sp below 8p.
My last post should say SELLING at 8.18p and BUYING at 8.25p.
Looks like a 2 x 200k rollover at 3.14pm. Done at special prices. Only 18 seconds between the trade times. Selling at 8.25p and buying back at 8.18p.
You could well be correct!! LOL. Lets hope so. LOL. Whenever the sp drops below 8p it does appear to attract the bargain hunters (buyers) again.
Someone has just sold 386,800 shares @ 7.65p. That's circa £30k's worth. They must have paid more than that when they bought the shares. That doesn't sound like a small Pi's holding. Unless Zorns1967 is the seller!! LOL. Hopefully todays sell off will mean the bottom has been reached, but I'm not counting my chickens just yet
".I agree, but he's also very arrogant, and get called on being so every day on ADVFN." By diablo1967 (Zorns1967 on here) only, poppa07 and you know it. By the way where is Zorns1967 today? He's the man, poppa07, who keeps telling me that I should look and learn from him. Where is the self styled Master of the Universe? Because I could definitely do with some useful pointers on what is currently happening to the LRL sp. It's all a mystery to me. Perhaps you can give us your opinion, poppa07, instead of just criticising me?
According to the latest RNS Leyshon Energy will only list on AIM. It is NOT de-listing from ASX since the company DOESN'T yet exist and it isn't currently listed anywhere!! The company that does currently exist, LRL (Leyshon Resources), will still exist, but in a much smaller form MINUS it's energy asset (Zijinshan) and US$35m of cash. Presumably that will still continue to be listed on the ASX and AIM? However we are not sure. Perhaps Leyshon Resources will in future only list on ASX since it's only asset (apart from a few million US$) will be the Australian Mt Leyshon gold prospect? We just don't know,
