Zijinshan is still at such an early stage of exploration that it's far too early to say whether it's too costly to develop on the likely gas flows. The last ZJS7 update wasn't lacklustre (read it again), but the Market is not taking kindly to the lack of any follow up updates on ZJS7. Rightly, or wrongly, the Market is taking the view that ZJS7 is a total write off, judging by the sp performance, because Atherley is keeping stum.
LRL sp currently resting on the lower BB as support. Could see a possible bounce towards the upper BB in the short term? http://uk.advfn.com/p.php?pid=chartscreenshot&u=lyStCRt+t70zitWEy27UuHx0NyYMSkvtb3sj1eJUPHM=
I agree. Not looking good here. Looks like someone might be offloading in 25k and 50k lots. There is something wrong, or perceived to be wrong, behind the scenes but until we see the next update we wont know what is wrong, if anything is. It looks like the Market is taking the view that LRL's only viable asset is it's cash. The silence from PA is deafening.
"any chance the company be sold?" Ask Atherley. I very much doubt you will get an answer, but NO one on this bb can answer your question.
Look back through the previous posts!! I only posted because cookiecrew asked me to. Is that Ok with you poppa07? Do I have your permission to post the information which another poster requested? Do I have to seek your permission to post in future? LOL. Here's cookiecrew's post: cookiecrew Posts: 859 Off Topic Opinion: No Opinion Price: 8.25 ultrapunch Tue 17:30 Let us know whats opening on asx later if you wouldnt mind ,many thanks
on ASX so far tonight. Doesn't surprise me.
Looks like every trade so far today (and they are not many!!) has been a sell.
Just a paltry 5 trades so far today totalling around just £10k. Unless we get a positive update on ZJS7 (and PA seems in no rush to update investors on ZJS7) then I can't see much interest being generated in the LRL sp until a months time when we will hopefully be closer to the meeting concerning the separation into 2 companies.
going through at full asking price, but volume so far today is low. PS. lander. LOL.
Yes you can safely top up on monday. You will be informed of the cut off date sometime in the future. At the moment there has been no announcement of a cut off date so it's perfectly safe to buy on monday and for sometime to come. The cut off date will be sometime after the proposed meeting at the end of November.
Yes you have. You need to read the RNS again and understand what it means. For example an LRL shareholder domiciled in a country other than the UK or Australia might be prohibited by the laws of that country from taking part in any share distribution. For instance you often see the proviso in AIM company announcements that it doesn't apply in the USA. I'm not saying that LRL shareholders based in the USA can't take part in the proposed distribution, but it's a distinct possibility. There may be other countries where the share distribution cannot take place or whether it will entail extra work and cost . Here is the relevant passage from todays RNS: "For those shareholders who are deemed by the Company to be ineligible because they reside in jurisdictions where the distribution is prohibited or would in the Company's opinion impose undue burdens on the Company, the corresponding Leyshon Energy Limited shares will be sold by the Company and the net proceeds returned to the shareholder. Further details will be included in the notice of meeting/circular." Obviously there are some countries where the distribution is prohibited (as a guess the USA could be one of those) or others where it would entail a lot of hassle and extra cost to the company to effect the share distribution. Don't worry. All those shareholders resident in the UK or Australia will be eligible for the share distribution. That includes you, if you reside in the UK.
I imagine that instead of holding LRL shares in your ISA you will end up owning Leyshon Energy and Leyshon Resources shares in your ISA. After all it's just LRL splitting itself into 2.
Seems someone complained to admin about our rather boring spat this afternoon, hence the deletion of our rather boring posts.
They have to liase with their PSC partner before they issue the results of the analysis of the wireline logs and core samples. Perhaps PetroChina are dragging their feet? Who knows? All I know is they haven't yet released the results of the wireline logs and core samples. They must have a legitimate reason for not doing so, but I have no idea what that reason is, nor I suspect does anyone else on this bb. PS. After receiving such an abusive, uncivilised, reply from zorns1967 just for posting my opinion in a very civilised way I'll concentrate more on the LOGP bb in future (I bought some LOGP shares on monday) and just tuck my LRL shares away and try to forget about them for the time being. PPS. Some encouraging accelerating growth figures released today for China. Bodes well for the Chinese Energy Market and LRL.
"in sure zjs7 will be commercial of course unless they are doing a shut in period which I very much doubt we will have to wait longer. I'm afraid you are jumping the gun. LRL will need to issue the results of the wireline logs and core samples first (total net pay, etc) and then announce whether they intend to flow test before or after fracking. They are not flow testing now.
Wake up buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ISA rules have recently changed. AIM shares no longer need to be dual listed to be held in an ISA. So no need to worry.

meeting end of November and Leyshon Energy will only list on AIM. Still no news on ZJS7.
Come on, own up. Who splashed out 33p buying 4 shares this afternoon? Forget about the 400k trade. That buy of 4 shares shows that the big boys have started buying in earnest. LOL.
The sp did move after that 400k trade, though not immediately. The trade was reported at 13.10, but was timed at 12.10 so it's reporting was delayed by an hour because of it's size. The spread at 12.10 was 7.75 - 8.00p, whilst the spread at the time it was reported (13.10) was 7.75 - 8.25p so the mid price went from 7.875p to 8p during that hour.
