Can anyone explain to me what this recent news means for the shares? Will it impact SP at all?

International Personal Finance PLC - Leeds-based provider of unsecured consumer credit - Sets out plans to delist its shares from the Warsaw Stock Exchange, while remaining traded on the London Main Market. Under Polish law, IPF must make a tender offer for shares that were purchased in Warsaw, and so the company calls a general meeting of shareholders for September 16 to get approval for the offer.

Somehow doubt the FCA can renege on the High Court ruling for the scheme. With CCD no longer a going concern, unsure how that works.

PFG is definitely part of a few ETFs at the moment. That should also tell you something.

Also had a quick skim of results and things look pretty solid going forward. Those that bought in the dip and are holding should do pretty well I think. Honestly, just glad to see CCD gone as this show an actual solid starting point for the recovery of the company. Had to laugh when I saw news NSF are following suit and getting out of the home credit aspect.

Agree, but all round good news this has broken £3 again. About time.

Agree. Historically, it's still pretty low. I feel like this has to be a £5-6 share at least long term.

Well, that's more like it. I bough in at 2.95 a while back before it nose dived again. Long term holder here, so it's still going t be a long road before I sell out. Glad CCD is gone, it was only going to cause more and more issues.

We are gradually approaching pre-crash / bad news SP. Definitely good.

I think, long term, this is positive news. Has long been a problematic part of the business. Will be interesting to see how the market reacts.

Can anyone explain the 14% drop today?

This is a difficult one for me, as am a long term investor. Seemed like waiting it out was the thing to do, as I had other things going on when the first major crash took place, and missed all the warnings. Seemed little point in selling as most of the value had been lost. I guess now, I'd rather hold due to price memory! Not much point getting out when it's so low. Even wondered about buying in at these levels, but unsure I want anymore money parked in this.

Also interesting to see that IPF is up above the £1.00 mark. I think PFG should trend upwards, but dependent of CCD either showing signs of recovery or just scrap it outright.

Did I miss something, this is trending upwards strongly today! Could be the Covid recovery / ease out of lockdown roadmap news?

Was wondering the same tbh, I think the whole market is a down a bit at the moment.
