I bought in at £24ish in October, I have been consistently averaging down at each of the drops. Today included.

Will it drop more. Perhaps so? If BOO is struggling, seems likely ASOS are too. But I think much of the adjustment / warning was done during their Capital Markets day announcement. I think the next few months are going to be rocky for the market as a whole. Looking at the chart, long term you are likely to come out on top.

DYOR, but it's definitely not a bad point to get in at IMHO.

Yeah, whole sector seems spooked by the BOO profit warning. Which wasn't THAT bad. I'm also in ASOS and we are feeling the knock on effects / read across from BOO as well.

I used it as a buying opportunity for ASOS. Also tempted to load up here, but funds are limited.

It's interesting, because I am noting the drop across other fashion / retail shares too. I think BOO has perhaps spooked the whole sector today. At least, that's my best guess. At least we aren't down 17% eh?

All fair comments. Appreciate the input from everyone. Business still looks solid. Let's see how it all shakes out. The drop is surely just a read across from BOO today, and it'll recover unless we see any similar bad news.

Yes, I noted the big £10 drop, that's why I said 'bar one drastic drop'. However, the SP recovered within a matter of weeks. Seems largely quite robust, is all I'm saying. Of course, none of us have a crystal ball.

I took a long hard look at the chart for the past 5 yrs and bar kne drastic drop, £22ish seemed to be the low, from which it has always recovered considerably well.

Maybe so. I did what I was thinking of doing yesterday, I sold out of my small position in GAW and bought more at this price. Seemed too good to miss. Could it continue to fall, yeah maybe... but I've seen how fast the SP has recovered from major knocks and it seems like a good bet.

Might sell out of something else and set a buy order at £22 tomorrow. Too low to resist.

Yep, tough to see this go sub £23 when I topped up last week. Anyhow, it's all just sitting on your hands for a bit now. Maybe a bit longer than we all expected! Ha.

Maybe so, whole market is pretty depressed right now. I'm just going to sit and wait with this one. Awesome price to get in at currently.

The usual case of "The Market Can Remain Irrational Longer Than You Can Remain Solvent".

Of course Plan B is GOOD for ASOS, but market as a whole will be a bit wobbly (technical term) for a bit!

@Archy147, I hear you on the broker rating, but I've seen revised broker ratings tank an SP. Darktrace and the Peel Hunt reseach/rating comes to mind, even if it was due an adjustment following its crazy quick rise. Can slide both ways I think!

Yeah, I just saw the broker rating change. I think £30 is perhaps the more realistic upside.

Only been in on this share for a few months, but I have been surprised by it's resilience and ability to bounce back, so it's a case of buy low and then wait. If I had some serious money to burn, could have made some excellent gains on the ups and downs. But, I'm small time, so happy to just sit on my hands for a bit now.

This drop is not ASOS specific. A quick glance at the market news this morning answers your question. Whole FTSE is down. Disappointing GDP results, Plan B coming in into effect, the USA maybe raising interest rates sooner. Time to buy the dip again folks!

I had heard about this. A total class act in terms of re-distributing profit / success to employees.

Peel Hunt just reiterated their £125 broker rating, I don't think we have much to worry about tbh. Fill your boots at these levels if you can.

I don't think anyone in their right mind was expecting pandemic levels of profit. It's not great, but neither is it awful, nor does it justify the SP drop.

If I had the money, I'd be buying more at this price... but I have my position now and going to just sit on it for a bit. Bit of patience and this will come good.

Perhaps, I think this kind of thing has always been around. That said, PFG seemed to have tightened everything up a lot after all the FCA probes. It must be on their radar.
