.
Thanks Max
I can’t see it mentioning a valuation anywhere, which is a bit strange.
Friday conundrum
Ok I am still puzzling over TB/FAB selling their shares to Braveheart.
•Let’s say IQAI was purchased for £100m (wishful thinking or maybe just £30 at this rate, it make no difference to the calculations)
•Previously TB/FAB would have received 30% so £30m
•Now Braveheart would receive £30m and if they paid that as a special dividend (as they have previously) then TB/FAB would only revived 30% of that £30m so £9m
So what I can’t understand is why TB/FAB would give up 21% of the profit of the sale?
We all know TB likes his money so why give up such a big share?
* i think it was Howdlep who has stated he can’t buy anymore shares as he is a concert party with Braveheart.
* there can’t be a placing below 1p
* is it because of capital gains tax versus tax on dividends?
* Is it because TB is based in Switzerland?
* Is it because IQAI is based in Jersey?
* Is he thinking about the upcoming budget?
It makes no sense
* Braveheart is based in a non descript industrial estate near Barnsley
* So based where Brett Skelly/GBAC are
* Does Brett like to go to the very nearby Toby carvery for lunch?
* Does TB like to stay in the attached Barnsley Ibis hotel which is considerably cheaper than Jersey or London?
* Are they thinking that will mean a cheap Christmas party?
Joking aside why transfer his shares to Braveheart for £700k and lose 21% on any potential profit
It just doesn’t add up, what am I missing or what is TB planning next?
Have a good weekend everybody
Thanks
