They might put out one of their "we highly welcome...blah..blah..blah...the uk allowing wider sales to the home", trying to create news by association, which is their default when they don't actually have news. I'm sure several here are scanning the official gov list and I await we eager anticipation postings on here of the list of retailers selling odx visitect test. Given the usual suspects still think odx have warehouses full of this test by now, there must be loads of visitect retailers on there....right ?

given odx is applying independently for ce home approval for visitect and not piggybacking on a mologic application (has mologic even applied for ce home use ?), I wonder does imply that odx will apply separately to WHO.

And why people think ODX would be announcing anything related to home testing today, I have no idea. The announcement would have been made when they signed-up a major uk distribution deal, not when some online retailers start operating.

yeah well done tricky for discovering that odx announced in dec 2020 that mologic had ce approval. as per the video that was discussed on here several months ago, the covios is the same test as the original, they used the same findx dta when discussing it. Only the handling changed. And as the ce is for professional use, the handling doesn't matter.

The dates on the ec approval search site were also proved here NOT to relate to the date of approval.

The 7th post on this thread confirms that I stated that the Mologic test was ce approved, and mu surprised was that they have never applied for inclusion on the eu "appropriate to use" list.

You will also see that i started this thread on tues 19th, 2 DAYS before the todays list was published, and on version of the document that was the most recent at the time that i posted, surescreen was listed as being rejected.

The exact point I made about the mologic test is that it Has been ce approved since dec 2020 (they RNS'ed it at the time), but at no time did they apply for it to be included on the "appropriate for us" list, a list that EU governments use to select LFT for national campaigns.

Somehow tricky turned that into that I was lying...I'm not....nasty bit of deliberate misleading.

New list was published today, I did say that the list would be update shortly. Changes to the list are dated 20 oct 2021.
How I could be accused of lying about a list that only came out today, and whose updates are all marked as yesterday, well you need to ask the accuser I guess.

Surescreen have went from being rejected, to being on the list on 20th oct.
I note that Innova are now also on the list, same date.

A search for "mologic" returns zero results. I'm sure Tricky will be along in a second and say I'm lying.

1) There is an approved list
2) I posted it a few days ago
3) Visitect is not on it
3) Visitect can't be on it until it has some sort of ce approval
4) Mologic never applied for it
5) All this was known by many people that read this thread, as I posted all the above, but they preferred to keep silent and not tell people the facts. Be careful of those that would pretend to be your "fellow" investors.

Might have bene 4 or 5, definitely not a 1000. We'll only know when the list is published whether it is a list of tests, or it is a list of retailers.

Still unclear to me when the government says unvalidated tests, surely they still means tests that have passed some level of saftey/ ce approval, and have just not been signed of for home testing in the uk. My understanding is that the visitect test has no ce/uk approval at all, even for professional use.

And I also posted a link to the list of approved tests, and remarked that it is strange that even though Mologic has been ce approved for professional use since Dec 2020, they never applied for it to be put on the eu "appropriate for use" list:-

There's well over 100 tests on that list. Without being on that list, no eu government will select it at a national level.

Mologic appears neither on the included or the rejected list, hence they never applied.

Also strange that even though Tricky spent loads of time discussing the eu list on my thread, she didn't once bother to post on here to correct the misconception that there is no inclusive list (and hence the inference that the visitect test may be approved), its almost like she prefers to keep people in the dark.

And you'd think it would be blatantly obvious to even the most casual observer that the eu is only going to add ce approved tests to a list that is appropriate to use for eu governments. Visitect has no ce approval

Unfortunately the confirmation letter makes no reference as to when the EUA was sought.
