oke, I would like to hear that too, however given AVACTA NCYT etc are all in the same boat and no word of any of them getting it, it may be a wish too far to expect ODX to announce it within the next 48hrs.

I pointed out some time back, that given for the last 6 months HMG has raised significant bidstat orders in alternate months (May,July,Sept) for antigen LFTs, that it would have been expected to see another tranche this month. So strange that as we head towards the end of the month, there hasn't been any.

The last labelgate was definite, sure fire proof positive of massive shipments to the USA, and so of course the "told you they were knocking out tests under NDAs" came out the wood work.

Not so much as a "supposition" from Calderkate, or a "guess work/ conjecture" from bearbulldozer. Happy that twitter runs off into a frothy horizon from a few grainy dodgy pictures, carry with them all those willing to be duped plus the usual "choo choo" and "boom" brigade.

But post a link showing Mologic test is under discussion for inclusion on the EU list, and suggest it might be beneficial for ODX, and that is suddenly "conjecture".

It *IS* still only potentially good news, but it is a channel that was not there previously.

Everything single thing said on here is conjecture and guess work, and extrapolation. But it is undeniable that Covios has applied for inclusion on the EU list, and it is undeniable that the vistect tests shares the same FindX test data. They are known and provable facts.

But I suppose some prefer to look at dodgy twitter pictures on Thursday and state categorically there will be an RNS on Friday or today....where are those guys btw ?

Takeiteasy pointed out that the list is not of self use, so for prof use only. This clearly changes the possibility of Visitect being seen as a generic for Covios for the purpose of acceptance on the list. Unlike many, I do take information on board and adjust my opinion accordingly.

Well you seem so intent in being critical, the salient point has clearly shot a few thousand feet over your head which is that Mologic have for the first time appeared on the "under discussion list". Having not applied since the first version of the list in Jan, it is potentially positive news that Mologics Covios test (and visitect uses the same underlying test) is being considered for inclusion on the list from which eu govs must draw professional use tests.. As the list *IS* for professional use, it is more likely that the Visitect test will be accepted as a generic equivalent, given that they both share the same Findx data, and that the only potential difference is in usability which will be less of a concern in a prof enviornment.

But please, go ahead you and the "likers" in ignoring the actual news and concentrating on the syntax of a particular sentence. If an EU gov wants to test a person, they MUST use one a test on the list, and that result MUST be recognised by all other EU governments.

The fact that the list does not apply to self-test use does reduce the interest level of it. However every test that would be suitable for self-test is suitable for professional use. So you still need to be on this list if you want to be selected for prof use within EU at a governmental level. If an eu goverment uses one of these tests to test a person, then the result of that test must be recognised as valid by all other member states, and these tests are the ones that are recognised for the "eu digital covid certificates".

Given there are 100+ on the list including all the major self-tests in the uk (innova, Flowflex, Surescreen), and that to be on the list in the first place requires use by a least one EU government, it indicates that manufacturers see a commerical advantage in being on the list.

I have submitted a question to the presentation as to whether Mologic Covios and ODX Visitect will be seen as a generic of each other, or whether ODX will have to apply for regulatory approval for home/prof use in a market independently of any approval that Mologic has received for the Covios product in the same market.

No difference relating to ODX. Neither ODX nor Mologic are on the list, if a test isn't on the list an EU gov will not procure the test for government use.

WHAT IS NEW, is that the addendum list (again refresh if you have previously view this page), for the first time includes the MOLOGIC COVIOS test among the list of 20 tests under discussion for approval. The interesting thing is that Mologic clearly never submitted their orginal test, as it never appeared on the approved,under discussion, rejected lists.

Given the the covios test and the visitect test are different tests (evidenced by ODX applying for their own EU home use approval), it is unclear whether Mologic getting included on the EU list means automatic inclusion for the visitect test. This is something that needs to be addressed this Thursday.

now Jimi don't go confusing the happy clappers by stating what the DAM representative said, depending on who you beleive here its definitely CTDA approval next week or HUA approval, and anyone that even suggests that the DAM rep didn't say that is an out and out liar....

We await EU selftest approval which should allow private sales in the UK for home use.
If you want the government to use the test for the NHS etc, it needs to be passed by PD.
