I agree, with the reason for the wild swings in share price, there is a hard core of investors who have been here since 2010 and it this long term for a new investor this a share which has suffered from the global oil crash as much as anybody , but as soon as Noble feel comfortable with POO they will drill a licence they own 100 per cent , and probably bring in another US partner to help fund as that is the way with such companies these days.
One thing is for sure there is a time limit on the agreement , and they are not throwing 400,000 down the drain every year for nothing. They will be looking closely with the Sea Lion sanctioning and might be the catalyst for them to act.
The Argos board are a very savvy lot and have been very patient to reach this point since 1995, another couple of years is nothing to them . Their deal with Noble was very savvy , plus the fact the Govt are now acknowledging the fact the Falklands oil will be a huge benefit after Brexit.
Nothing is easy and this could all go horribly wrong but in view of the years of endeavour by series of companies and FIG , enviremont issues addressed etc, I think this will happen sooner rather than never.
