Why the rise? Has something happened?
Gotta give him credit, he’s doing the things he needs to do to get us digging and delivering. This is a major breakthrough to my mind. It clears a path (physically) between our product and the market. Keep it coming Rod.
Long live Bill.
Feels to me that the most likely scenario is Rod has been offered a major position elsewhere and has agreed a deal with UFO to stay on and accomplish task one to earn his shares. It is absolute toss that they haven’t pushed someone forward to give even a simple explanation of what’s happened. It belittles the private investor. I’m invested and I believe there’s a profit to be made here but I’m less than impressed with the ethical face of this company now. I miss the Bill days. At least he was passionate and kept us involved. Rod just seems like a hack.
Why are we sifting through these RNS looking for meaning good or bad. Where are the interviews? Where is the public face of this company? Where are they out and about telling the world why this is all positive. Rod is hiding away which never looks good.
You’re talking utter *******s mate.
Sipp, Ohmni, are you pro war? Pro Putin?
Agree mullet. Absolutely no one knows how this will end, including Putin the invader. But I don’t buy this argument about Volume. Listen to Mike Jackson’s interview on Battleground Ukraine. Amazing podcast. 175k dead Russians.. eventually the tide of public opinion will turn against Putin. Russia won’t stand for too much needless loss. We’ll see an internal tipping point and either Kremlin breakaways or society itself will rise up. Ukraine need this counter offensive to win back some serious ground so we can pile pressure on that bald ******** and create greater fissures domestically for him. I would love to know what MI6 know about Kremlin assets right now. They must be going hell for leather trying to find an amenable pair of ears. Sipp, whatever your view or agenda, whatever news we all read, let’s not forget Russia invaded a country for absolutely no reason other than its expansionist ambitions. Putin has no justification for this. Russia as a nation has been hijacked by a tiny group of ex-KGB nationalists who are now torching everyone’s security and economic stability so that they may stay in power and pursue their totalitarian agenda. No one in Russia wants the war. No one in the wider world. This is about one of the greatest hijack in living history. How Putin hijacked a country of 180 million people and bent them to his will. Through fear, through outright lies. Through intimidation. Pure gangsterism. And now he’s burning through them at a rate that is astonishing without so much as a crack in his demeanour. He’s destroyed entire city’s worth of families created generation of hate built on misinformation and lies. I don’t know how it’ll end, but part of me longs to believe somewhere in the Russian consciousness there’s a flicker of rebellious spirit that can one day soon be fanned just enough to derail his complete madness. I guess we’ll all have to wait and see. Peace to all of you, especially those on the frontlines of this criminal war.
Is this your “feeling” Sipp, or do you have something more tangible to back up the statement. On balance I’d say the invaders are doing rather badly.
Very much looking forward to this flow of events later this year with UFO. We already have a head start on some of the port access I believe. Surface mining too. Load up here while you can.
Does anyone know what the capex was to get Eliz Hill up and running originally, weighted for todays value?
Yes I’m hoping the fact that our agreement wasn’t signed at the same time as Globe’s indicates the fact that it’s a monster with more favourable terms. We’ll see. IMO this is an absolute steal at this price. 12/24 months could 3/4 bag.
More delays. Wish they’d get their act together.
Bonker, I can assure you that I’m not so feeble minded as to think that a question I, or anyone else for that matter, might ask on here might in anyway affect the share price of a company. And as for your point about ‘they’d get a bad name if they did that’ - I just think it’s naïveté. International norms are now no longer that. This is the age of guess what happens next. But your first paragraph does give some substance. Legally, they can do what they want.
A few days ago on the Cotec discussion, I posed the question whether or not Malawi could ditch Mkango and hand the tenement to one of our hostile neighbourS - China/Russia etc. someone gave a good answer why not at the time but I can’t find it and someone has raised the question again today. So, if anyone can be bothered, can they kindly give an opinion on whether or not Malawi can legally take Songwe off Mkango at this point. Especially if a deal cannot be agreed. This is still something that concerns me. Forget getting a bad reputation, I don’t believe that’s enough. Is it legally possibly for Chakwera to say, if you’re not happy with our terms Xi and his gang have got a lovely offer for us. Au Revoir..
If you have capital to invest over a 12-48 month timeline this is now a highly appealing option. The mine, refine, recycle format has just entered into the market at a critical time. Come on BOD, get this MDA over the line and let’s turn this into a beast. God I wish I could average down right down as my AV is still up around 30. DYOR.. GLA.
I hear that, and it’s a valid criticism. But we reassess constantly based on the information we have at the time and right now I feel like I have a clearer and more realistic picture than I’ve ever had. Many variables, and still no permissions, but as a balance of facts and faith this is the share to stay in IMO.
If you don’t need the money, and you believe in the company, you’ve no reason to sell. Hold. 12/24 months and you’ll have recovered your loss. Stayers are players.
Some might call that a perfect storm for Mkango. What an insane share to be in at these levels. No wonder there’s no shares knocking around I imagine they’re rare as rare earths.
Announced there MDA a week ago and they are now trading below their pre-MDA level after a brief spike.
