...another EUA?

I'm in EUA, waiting for the sale to go through, and the BB is already full of talk of the "next EUA". ROCK has been suggested by a fair few posters, along with many others. I've skim-researched most of the suggestions on there and it looks to me like ROCK is the closest to EUA a few years ago? Ok, we don't have Platinum or Palladium, but, we have a company that does what it says it will do, has got good drill results under its belt, and owns assets 100%.

EUA was 0.22p just over a year ago, and shows how rapidly thing can rocket when there's interested buyers. I'v only been doing this for about a year, and I put into ROCK about the same (£) amount as I'm into EUA however, as it's earlier in the process, many more shares - the kind of number of shares I wish I had in EUA. I've tried a bit of trading, felt pretty pleased with myself making 20%-50% on a share, then seeing how much I would have made if I just sat on hands.

I'm having a punt at a few mining stocks but ROCK is the one I fancy will come good, and I'm in at the level I wish I had been with EUA.

Hi, this newbie question has probably been asked before but, if a sale is agreed, does that mean that the buyer owns all our shares and pays us the agreed price through a compulsory purchase, or, does the share price just re-rate, and it's up to us if we want to sell or stay invested?

It went above 18p on HL at one point - not that you could either buy or sell at the point.

Pretty sure the implication was that ROCK in NOT like VAL and COPL.

I suspect they're still here - posting the occasional negative post with their alt'id's, and quietly buying so they're primed for the next bout of ramping?

I'm fairly new too and so not that qualified to answer except that I had the same confusion. I wouldn't pay any attention to the prices , or even the trades, you see here - the direction of trade - buy/sell can be wrong (though not as frequently as the rampers/de-rampers would have you believe), AND it's 15mins behind live prices. Open and close prices can to vary if the share is traded on other markets while LSE is asleep.

HL will show live prices in your portfolio view but, if there's a lot of trades going through. when you request a quote to buy or sell, the actual price and spread can be very different to what you saw seconds ago.

Use any graph as a rough guide, but, the only price you should concern your self with is the one it says on the quote when you're about to press the button.

Yes - they genuinely are rumours - ie. a currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth.

I hope the EPO is signed as much as anyone here - but ramping doesn't help matters.

As a fairly new investor, I've made some money on GGP but couldn't help feeling a bit of envy for those who bought just 2 years ago when GGP shares were considerably cheaper (0.57p May 2018) than ROCK are now.

I'm making sure I don't feel like that if (when?) ROCK gets to a similar position.

Marketing overcomes most things - betamax was a superior product to VHS in every - VHS got the marketing right and destroyed betamax. So, I reckon good marketing is crucial.

But, let's hope the tech is sound too - great tech, great marketing - can't lose?

That is, investing the most time into deramping and ****ging off the share. Been at it for moths telling everyone not to touch it with a barge pole, and yet still here.

You mean an asterisk? All the trades has an asterisk against - again, it's not I don't believe you, it's just that you're not providing any facts?

n.b. Every trade on every share on LSE is asterisked. Some trades are in grey and labelled 'unknown' - these are the ones where the full info, for whatever reason, cannot be retrieved by LSE.
