You seem to talk rubbish, why would anyone buy in a placing to then sell it again at what they bought at? Or even a small percentage higher than that, let alone below the price they paid in the placing.
This is just a chance for the market to shake out any week hands before the GM next week.
2 of them are from one person.
What's your view Sianna?
You like disagreeing....
What was a delayed sell?
DNP,
I think that is not quite right, the buyers yesterday did not know about it and the price rose as the buying outweighed the selling substantially.
There was no evidence of a seller yesterday (there was on Thursday and Friday) and the selling today seemed a little weird as they could have got better yesterday afternoon.
We will see what happens but I suspect the placing shares to be going to tight holdings and the newsflow to continue...
"Only a rise in the share price is missing."
It won't remain missing for too much longer....
Fusion Antibodies (FAB), specialists in pre-clinical antibody discovery, engineering and supply for both therapeutic drug and diagnostic applications, announced it has received a first purchase order under the master services agreement (MSA) with a leading diagnostics company details of which were announced on 14 February 2024. FAB said reaching this agreement with a world class diagnostics provider positively reinforces the value to the wider commercial world of Fusion Antibodies’ technologies and capabilities. In this case it is the generation of antibodies in diagnostics products.
Comment: It could be argued that fundamentally FAB is now on track as a recovery situation, with the purchase order and recent funding. Only a rise in the share price is missing.
I got 3.885p, 3.84p, 3.896p and 3.9p on a fill or kill before the offer went up...All good prices and bringing my average down a little.
Will wait patiently now as I think this year will bring lots of positives (and maybe some perceived negatives).
I have added several times today (and I thought I had enough?), main one is delayed, traded at 09.11hrs...
I just think sub 3.9p is worth accumulating at...There has been a really positive shift in Biotech/Pharma in the last few months and CRO's are going to do well with the spending plans these Companies have to development new treatments, tests and trials.
Still maintain you don't know what you are talking about, the RNS clearly states Peel Hunt notified the Issuer on the 15th February (the day after they traded the shares).
It has been DKE who have delayed reporting it to the market this time......
I would suggest Peel Hunt only have to report when they go over 10% and that now they have gone under that, they have probably sold out entirely. This from another BB back at the time,

I have to wonder though 30mill traded yesterday -
Peel fully offloaded? -"
The last two trades were UT trades from the auctions so not the MMs spread. Basically if someone wants to sell at 0.27p and the offer at that price in the auction, someone is likely to take them up and it trades there.
The spread is wide, but the MMs aren't sure where it is going to go and with lack of volume are going to all sit together on the same wide spread.
Give it some newsflow and the spread will tighten.
So looking at the last placing, which was at a massive discount the shares seemed to have been taken by IIs and they still seem to be holding them , so if we see the same investors for this funding round, we could have quite a set of 'safe hands' investors on board and therefore the SP trajectory would have less drag on it. Even looking at last year, the SP didn't really get affected with the post placing trading, more about the problems the business was facing. Hopefully now they are cashed up and see the visibility to increased revenues and will be working towards the breakeven level in their numbers....
I'm glad it did though :o)
Having taken the plunge, I am looking at who would buy shares in a placing at a very small discount and with such a large chunk of the share issue being offered. Certainly cannot see bucket shops taking the placing. It would seem more likely those with longer term views. Bringing Shard in as joint broker also suggests they have brought some or someone to the table, are they Instis, funds or could there be interest from some HNW investors or even another CRO? I just think the discount and amount of equity suggest the buyers realise it to be a good deal and that has swayed me into building up a holding to see where this leads to...
Well whatever they are, it has provided some liquidity for me to build up a good sized position here.
Would it be wrong for me to now want them to stop selling LOL...
However I got 58k at 3.905p.....
I know!!!
And the 240k sell saw the offer drop at 15.20hrs...
The drop was due to the 460k sell earlier, yesterday there was a 530k sell. These will work their way out of the system and give an opportunity for investors to get in under the placing price. It is unlikely that people stump up money in a placing at 4p to sell it lower than 4p.
