Bungle, I’m a qualified financial adviser and one of the biggest problems this nation faces is a lack of financial education at school. I think what you are doing is pretty inspirational and it would be great for the media to pick up on yours and dylans’ stories and promote it in the press. I also know of financial podcasts that should try get you onto one of their shows.
but just had one quick look at the price and it's jumped up so much... leaky leaky or is something going on?
Astra have debt they need to refinance, no way would all 3bn go on a takeover.
P.S. Voleon's shorting technique is applied by a machine algorithm, so to short a company at another's request to keep it down for a takeover would seemingly go completely against that methodology.
I just don't see it as anything other than a complete coincidence, but would be very happily proven wrong.
I still maintain a share price target and if this was done to help keep a low offer on the table, i'll just reject it and carry on.
only a prediction but it's in a regular daily trading holding pattern now. I'm still holding out for something out of the blue this afternoon or tomorrow morning.
If you take out April - June, the YTD chart is pretty much a consistent straight line upwards, however i am still expecting a massive rerate especially when shorts close their positions. The fact Voleon haven't yet started closing down (as far as we know at yesterday) means there will be a rush for shares at some point when the "algorithm" turns, and it will.
I agree, i wouldn't want less than £12 a pop for my shares, but would actually be looking at closer to £16 for a quick sale.
I'm otherwise more than prepared to hold for the long term on this.
Manchengo point taken, but he's a member of the queen's council which is the group of best barristers this country has, it's almost a prerequisite to stick that after your name

Not totally related to NCYT but certainly could have an impact on the tender process, well worth a read and quite serious implications for those involved
Can easily look forward to that 30 minute later bedtime me thinks!
And that's the way we like it!
I detect, despite quite erractic fluctuations in prcie today, that there is a general uptrend so would be hopeful of a 295-300p finish, especially if no news on tenders as it can only get closer and closer.
I don't suppose anyone has sat and added up all the tenders given out so far by any chance? they seem mostly trivial and small so i would assume most of the 5bn is still left.
trying to call out NCYT tests for being expensive, when they cost around a fiver each and AVCT are likely to cost upwards of £50 a pop based on prior research....hmmm i think this guy is deramping and should be reported as what they've said has literally zero basis in fact.
Anyone following the tender website seen any updates today yet?
Happy to check myself if someone can provide a link.
I will close my other (very small) long positions ASAP in AVCT and ODX, regardless of anticipated news.
Only one covid play to be in now.
Should be no less than £4 again based on the news and sentiment changing, but we’ll see.
Attogene ( ithink is their name) are definitely one of the distributors. There was a link posted to their website which quite clearly stated distributor for primerdesign and had all the main products listed for sale in US dollars.
hope that helps
Good day for him to start posting drivel this morning, will he show his face again now?
Topped up and sold out of EUA, made a quick 40% on that to refund over here.
With regards to silence from prominent posters, GGGG was on here just yesterday so i wouldn't exactly call that silence.
