They are truly pathetic and yet this business has seen consistent rises on the back of speculation over their covid test
I actually think we’ll have a good day today so I wouldn’t worry too much.
This has got to be what the gov where referring to on Monday and building up... this is massive for us getting the NHS contracts which we all know are coming!
The share was not at £12 when the RNS was released, it had already drifted back down to around £10.60 and opened up at £10 on the day.
An old adage of sell into news is exactly what happened, yes the wording was bad but Christ, grow up and have some patience. Nothing changed in fact all signals are that it’s in the best possible position for all who continue to hold.
80 minutes is nothing at an airport... you take on the way in and by the time you’re at the gate waiting to board you’ll know the result.
Also anyone saying LFTs are faster/better, just remember they’re not approved by most countries in order to get into them, it has to be PCR.
Soder and Bluelight 100% agree with both. Nice to have some sensible responses for once.
I have no idea if a takeover is in the works or not, i'm happy to hold long term regardless. But I think the people that are trying to connect BlackRock holding shares to a takeover are really missguided and wide of the mark.
There are specific smaller companies funds that are buying this share. These funds are not the sort to help with a takeover bid, these funds are long term holders too and are investing private client money on long term time horizons to make long term gains. They cannot simply build up shareholdings for a corporate takeover by the likes of AZN, that is not how this works. If you aren't knowledgeable about this area I really suggest you don't speculate or post about it.
by today's drop, when all market pointers suggest that shares will rise on the back of further US stimulus. I do get the feeling we might rebound a bit this PM once US markets open up.
I think the Oddo broker note would have had minimal impact on what's happened today, and i'd look further afield to news regarding the likes of Glaxo's life saving drugs etc. All the same, still didn't see 5% drop.
Or possibly even the contract coming out tomorrow morning prior to the meeting?
I can only see the letters N H S everywhere I look now when looking for NCYT research...
Hold for goldldddddddddd
And I think that there is now nothing to stop the share from starting a slow and steady climb back to the £8, £9 range. We’ve seen it before when it did 5-10% climbs every day for a period.
We are on AIM. This is a junior market with less restrictions than the main trading exchanges, this means it is by it's very nature "high risk" and shares will rise and fall far more dramatically than in the FTSE. But isn't this what everyone is here for?
Everyone needs to take a breather. Remember the company fundamentals; we are not trying to chase a quick buck here, this is a long term hold and with that in mind people should be investing on the basis they will be holding it for up to five years - that is what a long term holding is! Even medium term holdings are 3- 5 year timescales. I'm an extremely adventurous investor and have myself neck deep in this stock, I sold ODX,SNG,ARB,GDR, all at exactly the wrong time to put more into this share and have missed out on probably c.80% or more of growth going both ways. Do I care? Not really, I still think this is the share to hold at the end of the day and will continue to do so for the foreseeable.
The advent of social media means people are so short sighted, they want everything yesterday and i'm afraid with what is going on here that simply isn't going to happen. Suck it up and move on.
Speaking from experience I cannot stress this final point enough. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. The posters to this board are generally well meaning, but they are not experts (certainly no in AIM shares - very few people are). If a link is posted showing potentially good news, read it, follow it up, read it again, and do your own digging. Nothing in this life is free and certainly not on the stock market.
Just a final pointer for the amateurs. The main aims of stock markets are to cause the greatest amount of loss to the greatest number of people. This is fact. That means everyday charlies who are trying to buy and sell/ trade stocks on their own.
He's accusing NCYT followers of getting him banned, and asking AVCT followers to get him reinstated.
I'm not mistaken, it was his comments on AVCT's board that got him banned. They want him back even less than we do.
What a deluded fool.
Just think they had to word 2021 expectations better. As alluded to, most of the NHS contract is yet to be paid with negotiations on the next one... I feel like maybe it wasn’t released until as late in jan as possible while they tried to get negotiations over the line. That hasn’t happened unfortunately.
All they needed to say for this to be blue today was “2021 will be better than 2020”, we all know it will be but the market doesn’t. That’s why it’s falling.
You can defer losses forever under current legislation, but you must declare the loss within four years.
These people are not regulated, have no qualifications to speak of and technically what they are doing isn't allowed under regulations. It baffles me that the FCA don't do something about it.
But had it confirmed from sources that a certain diamond horse’s Twitter has been censured for hateful conduct
Happy days all around
His short must be hurting right now...
maybe i'm mystic meg but it really does not seem to be that far fetched anymore. A really good day.
There's no tax on gains in pensions, it only matters when you draw income and the two are mutually exclusive. The LTA issue mentioned is far more complex than a simple bulletin board here would allow, especially depending on your age, but it sounds like it won't be a problem for you.
Regardless of your own thoughts, i'd still strongly recommend you seek out a suitably qualified financial planner for when you come to take the pension benefits. There are many out there (myself included), but make sure they aren't just after your assets under management and actually want to talk to you about your lifetime goals and what you wish to do with the funds in retirement. It should be about you and your objectives and not about the "product" per se.

£30 by month end would not be out of the realm of possibility when you crunch the numbers.
considering the media are all promoting mass vaccination centres opening this morning, the move back north is really welcome and a sign of what could be to come over the next week or two prior to the big one dropping...
