Jointhedots, you agreed with me without realising it.
I am not questioning the cloud telephony market and 100% agree there are opportunities in the segment they want to transition into. I am questionning the current management's ability to capitalise on the opportunities in this segment.
It is all about the management's ability to capture a slice of this market now. Do you trust them and their ability to successfully transition? By the sounds of it you don't, and a piece of the pie won't just fall into loopups's lap as the migration is not as natural as you think; they have to work for it.
Management must prove themselves to see value here. Only one way to do that, and that is pipeline conversion.
So in this sense, it is a complete punt. You are purely betting on the management's ability to transition and provide growth. Odds are small as competition in this space will only increase and management's track record isn't exactly great, but reward is huge if they pull it off, I'll give you that.
The price is cheap, so risk/reward is fair for a punt to nothing at these levels. But until there are signs of momentum in terms of contract commitments, it's currently only worth punt money for me personally
