That goes for most AIM shares. 99% of those who hold will be diluted to oblivion in a year or 2. Holding aim shares is a mugs game IMO (que the black swan examples that are statistically irrelevant). 88e is no different from the hundreds of aim shares that have lost 99% of their value through endless dilution, inexperienced boards ect.
The only way to make money on AIM is to trade the spikes. I think we can all agree that volatility over the next few weeks will be high. Where there is volitility, there is money to be made by trading. Long term prospects are, for me at least, irrelevant. i said it a couple of weeks ago, and i'll say it again...the odds are in your favour on 88e over the next few weeks. Thats all that matters at this point in time! We had a mini spike the week before to 0.3, then dropped back to 0.25. Next wave was to 0.4 last week, then back to 0.3. Doesnt take a smart person to guess what is likely to happen next!
charts nicely lined up for the next wave of profits. Dont miss out on the only opportunities in your favour to actually make money on AIM!
Agree neon. Moved over to the US/JPN long ago and only play with a few stocks on AIM now. Ftse is stuck in the 19th/ 20th century and no politican has the vision to see the damage it does to the image of UK and economy. Urgent reform is needed to attract fresh young companies in order to reinvigorate the dusty old index. Start by getting rid of ridiculous stamp duty for ftse stocks. ARM absolutely made the right decision to join nasdaq! If they joined ftse, they would have ended up like DARK, THG and so many others who have dared to stay local. ARM would have been worth 10x less, if that if they joined FTSE!
Wheres the great information stas? All i see are "3p by close", "10p incoming" and thousands of comments that are pretty much all the same. The only information worth reading is that in the RNS and the opinions of verified experts in the field.
The guy on linkedin makes a point. This could be not so dissimiliar to a fart of gas from the fault zone only, and we have seen virtually no data surrounding this 4.7% figure. Lorna said herself that the play is unconventional, so little is known about the geology and there is still much to learn. Before the word "commercial" can be thrown around, the company need to fully understand the fracture system. The company have no idea what they have until this happens let alone come up with a resource estimate. Context is the key word here. Lorna did say she will update the market when this becomes avaliable however.
More holes almost certainly required to fully understand the play here which would require a JV to prevent SHs diluted to death. However the fracture system needs to be fully understood before any JV would be onboard.
A long way to go yet. Any traders hoping for a quick flip now may be dissapointed, as that opportunity has passed. This is now one for those who think longer term.
Still plenty of upside to be had here in anticipation of the flow testing. Next couple of weeks could be very exciting given the movement this week and last.
Charts look lined up for big gains too. Lets have the commencement of flow testing RNS to really kick things off
I thought lorna changed her linkedin photo. Thats what the 1000 posts over the weekend were for, and the rampers (who seem to have bailed now) shouting about 3p+ open.
Nothing to see here now until news. Don't let the rampers fool you into thinking lornas hairstyle will cause a surge in SP.
Rampers getting gassed about Lorna changing a photo. Got to be worth at least 10p right? A change of photo...thats a gamechanger here. Will certainly be putting in a huge buy order first thing. (Being sarcastic by the way, for the avoidance of doubt)
This board has become an overblown rampfest of epic proportions. A big sell signal!
Early next week should confirm flow testing underway with no mishaps or delays.
Earlier in the week showed us this can still move. Back in for the FOMO trade. Hopefully things pick up a bit more this afternoon
The real distress will come on the next placing due in a couple of months. They will have little option but to practically give away CGP shares. And to whom? I'm sure they will be greatly recieved by the circling sharks.
A franco style deal? Scotty doesnt have the balls! This is the only thing that will get the sharks frenzied and bid. Giving away revenue to PE bit by bit...this will drive the sharks batsheet. Besides, it might not be possible now with the economy.
Or a good ol dilutive, heavily discounted placing...which will most likely be offloaded to the sharks anyway off the books in those murky deep liquidity pools.
Either way, its win win for the sharks. So why on earth would they make a bid when they can conduct a creeping takeover?
And who wants to place a wager re whether the PFS will land before the fund raise?
vindication indeed. thank f*** i was delivered from this **** show by that mini spike erlier in this week. sold off the lot then.
quite this fast, i was not expecting. but not in the slightest suprised. i wouldnt touch this dog with a 100ft barge pole even to trade! 1 day up, 9 days down. uninvestable, and untradable. as bandit said, wait for the 4s. no low is too low for this dog now! it can go right back to 1p....and will at this rate!
and another missed deadline. my goodness, what a shock. solg have been known to be so punctual in the past!
I 100% agree 1984! But i dont think we are talking about climate denial anymore, rather what little we are currently doing to combat the issue, and the poor example those up the top are giving us and the fact that you are questioning why you should act if others are not.
The politicians who fly out on their private jets every year and preach to us as to how we need to turn our heating off and use public transport....i dont think anyone can disagree with the fact that this does nothing to help the cause and is
incorrigible!
Countries like china, brazil, india ect...they must do more, but they wont act first without the west acting. And you are correct in saying a country like UK becoming net zero by 2050 is, on a global scale is physically worthless. But i think the point is more political. If the west are ready to make big sacrifices, then developing countries are more inclined to also.
You have just highlighted the current global incohesion regarding climate change. But this is not a reason to deny that the climate is changing, and that we are causing the change.
your point re children i dont understand. Our goal (in the natural world) is to not die out. By not having offspring means we die out. I am hoping any children i have in the future can adapt and invent their way out of this mess previous generations have left us in. Thats what we must do to survive.
You are never in a million years going to convince a climate change denier through scientific facts and consensus, as these are entities, in their worldview, controlled by governments. And the argument re data can easily be countered. we have around 200 years of pretty accurate data. Before that, the data is extrapolated and inferred through geology. Therefore we can only create models. Pretty darn accurate models, yes. but models none the less, and we are always discovering new things and adjusting our models.
I dont believe all climate deniers are stupid, so calling them stupid completely closes dialogue. just misinformed and have interpreted things wrong. A little knowledge is dangerous ect ect. I dont need convincing on the overwhelming scientific evidence to support the theory that humans are causing climate change (note 1984 i said theory)...and to be fair, and lets be strictly scientific, it is not 100% certain by definition, but its as close to certain as we can get without actually letting the predictions of inaction to play out. But thats the rub...something that is not 100% certain can always be interpreted as uncertain despite the fact of being as humanly certain as we can get without the event taking place.
Its important therefore to find middle ground. Yes, it is not 100% certain that humans are causing climate change. But then lets discuss what 100% certain actually means. Lets discuss irrefutable trends (assuming you are talking to a rational person) and then lets discuss in the face of probability, the risk of doing nothing. The asteroid analogy is valid.
Every climate denier that begins to see reason is a victory.
I see what you are saying 1984. Our data only goes back a couple of hundred years, thermometer accuracy, natural earth weather cycles over geological timescales ect ect we cant possibly understand all that, right?....so are humans that arrogant to think that we can impact weather on a global scale?
Its all about risk. Are humans causing global warming? On the balance of probability yes. Its too much of a coincidence that average global temperatures are increasing (and they definitely are) vs our output.
Hey, maybe you are right. Its not caused by humans. But the question is, do you want to take that risk? The evidence produced already is more than enough to warrant a change in our behaviours. Only because it is not 100% fact that humans are not causing global warming, doesnt mean that we do nothing until it becomes 100%. Darn, i would say 50% is good enough! If we wait for 100%, it is already too late!
If there was 50% chance of an asteriod the size of the Chicxulub hitting earth, what would you do? Deny until it became 100% certain??? Because 100% certain is the moment of impact....BOOM
Wouldnt surprise me if it ran up again predator.
Beamr imaging up over 1000% today because of a tie up with nvidia! Utterly mental over on nasdaq these days. Makes AIM look sane in comparison.
Haha i wouldnt like to be armistice capital right now. Go get em lads!
Rabito, nonsense is the market anticipating a positive flow test result which is already reflected in the SP. Sentiment here is at an all time low, and has been for donkeys now. The market is certainly not expecting a lot from this company given the dismal history.
If the flow test is positive, the SP will rocket. This is obvious. If it is a duster, the SP will tank. Its as simple as that really.
Still fully expecting a run up into results once it is confirmed that flow testing has commenced on schedule.
