gdshaw : ln making your point of view earlier on buy & sell data , you quote it is more difficult when not dealing with retail investors , "why " ? A company stock share buy or sell transaction request which is recieved by the L.S.E. is exactly that , who ever you are , & level2 market data & whatever lmformation you have at your disposal would make no differance to the resulting transaction requested by the investor .
However l do agree with you that third party websites such as the one were posting on now , L.S.E./S.E. is trying to do there best with the limited imformation from there data suppliers . But is this the right way to go on ?
The daily share trade chart on this & other third party websites contain many incorrect entries admitted by themselves , these same entries could be deemed misleading imformation to investor consumers if it were not for there disclaimers covering them legally . This cannot be right ? !!!!!!! WHAT IS THE POINT OR PURPOSE OF ANY INCORRECT IMFORMATION ?
l would add that my opinions above have no baring on my investment in Sirius Minerals & there great engineering project .
" ln out shake it all about " ( exactly that ) !!!
Why are "all " we investors treated like idiots by the L.S.E. with there arrogance of not allowing general investors the true identity of a listed companies dailly buy & sell trading results .
When l phone up to" buy " or " sell " some shares in a company on the stock exchange it is exactly that .!!!
Not a guessing game !!! Recorded by the exchange .
Mind you that doesn,t include the times my trades have not been listed at all .
The question is why do the L.S.E.not allow the correct results to be published by third party websites .
l have written to ( you cannot email them ) L.S.E & emailed Charles Randell ( FCA ) ----Craig of LSE/SE & Simon Lambert of thisismoney.com . & all repeat that it is not possible as myo points out in his previous post . What Rubbish !!!!!
l have to say that Charles Randell was the most sympathetic , with he agreed , a very frustrating situation for investor consumers, but did not believe the sometimes incorrect buy & sell data recorded constituted any misconduct of , or of any misleading imformation due mainly to the websites mistake disclaimers . Of course l disagreed !!!.
He went on to point out that the L.S.E is also excluded total transparency to consumers by way of standards set out in the EU financial standards regulations .
ln all , these charts we all look at , are an absolute nonsense instagated by the L.S.E. reluctance to release proper transparancy of imformation to third party websites , giving surly people within the market realms an advantage of what is truely going on ?
All in all a Dodgy old game investing on the stock market for the uninitiated . l indeed have learned the hard way like so many im sure .
Phew ! Blimey !!!
That all aside , as a retired carpenter , my one & only investment remains in SIRIUS MINERALS purely because its a truly amazing engineering project here in the UK thats going to be very exciting to follow & hopefully be an enormous success for all involved . Blimey , l sound like a ramper dont l .
So, nobody here appears to understand whether these two extremely large trades existed even though your invested in the company SAGA .
Does anybody even care if the charts were incorrect ?
How can anybody confidently track a companies share volume progress , if the trade charts are so incorrectly stated .
Does anybody know what the £ 2million pound buy & / the £ 4.8 million buy at 10: 59 am yesterday on this websites buy & sell chart was all about ?.
lt was not recorded on thisismoney website volume charts & further more was not recorded with the days total volume chart on this LSE/SE website . Certainly has not made any difference to the SP. !!!
Nice to hear someone talking about the engineering side of this project & you seem to know your stuff Myo & well read to !!
l think everbody now is beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel .
Anyway the suns just come out now , so im of out to the garden to cut my lawn & do a bit of daydreaming .
Cheers All !!!
lm getting on a bit , but even im getting a bit excited with the thought of the Stella Rose in action !!!.
Bring it on !!!
Finally some optimism from Motley Fool , well l would say to Motley just wait until the mine really gets underway , even Motley might be fooled .
The volatility of the companies mine will undoubtedly stabilize as the momentum & developement news transpires each month or so .
Bring it on !!!
An email from Tristan of Sirius Minerals yesterday confirmed that there is best part of 3 billion shares held by private investors , which is some 60% + of the 4.8 billion shares in issue at this moment in time .
lt has been said before that to much investment from the private sector can create volatility , which has been evident in this past week . But this amount of interest & optimism , after the turmoil of the mine financing saga proves surely just what a following & affect this enormous project has had on the private investors in the UK.
Unlike many other boring investments on the LSE , that if we were to be honest , we dont always fully understand , this mine is for real & everybody can see & understand the developement as it happens .
Taking all this on board l personally feel that this amount of interest is surely only going to escalale at each stage of future developement .
This project is what this country needs ( Albeit not much help from our useless Goverment & even more useless Theresa May , enough said !! )
Sirius Minerals beyond any doubt has got a great product / project backed up with some of the best mining engineers on the planet who dont do failure . OK. so some risk aside , im loving it !!!
Just think of the publicity & interest this mine will create when it really gets going .
l think iv just ramped , but who cares , its all true anyway for everybody in the UK to see & its happening right now .
l cant wait for the Stella Rose to get going . GLA
From earlier post via the horses mouth .
Best part of 3 billion shares , 60 % plus owned by private investors out of the 4.826 billion in issue .
Thats an awful lot of public interest & optimism in Sirius Minerals Yorkshire mining project . GLA .
Just heard from the horses mouth .
Current share issue , 60% + owned by pi investors , the rest are owned by institutions -- directors -- family , ect .
l did wonder , nobody on here seemed very sure who owned what of Sirius shares .
Big boys £ million buy/ sell making good money here .
Buy 7th May at 15.20 p Sell today at 18.30 p £25k profit
l,m not jeatous really um----------------
Blimey : ls that the scientific formula for a new rocket fuel !!!
So ln answer to my original question posted earlier in the afternoon , Sirius " shareholers " who are they ?
Nobody on this forum seems to have a clue , & furthermore dont seem to careless .
Most here , but not all , just seem to talk a load of hyped rubbish .
Anyway , best of luck to all , & the sirius mine will be successful whatever .
What did occur to me , is what do all you posters do for a living to have time to post all day long .
lm retired .
FFCmember Sorry for the delay , but if you google Sirius Minerals & its shareholders , & then go to simply wall st. 15 Oct . 2018 , which will give you the facts on the invested institutions at that time .
Back in Oct, 2018 Simply Wall St. .estimated that institutional investors owned 82 % of Sirius shares that would equate to somewhere in the region of 4 billion shares . Whats changed so much , & who were these institutional share holders that have moved on .
At this moment in time Sirius Minerals have 4,826 000,000 shares in float & it would appear that nobodies got a clue who,s got what . l cannot believe there could so many pi investors in Sirius like some are saying
Cherokee1 Thanks for your share holding data , it does make more sense , but why have sirius not got this on there website for investors to see ln there searches for imformation .
l dont know what casa was on about pi possibly owning 50 % -- 70 % of Sirius shares . Me no understand .
Does anybody know wno owns what in Sirius shares ? How many shares do the lnstitutions own ?
Lostinthecasino obviously doesn,t know
According to Sirius Minerals website there are 3 major institutional investors : The Capital Group --- Jupitor Asset---
& Norges Bank , together owning approx. 14--15 % of the company shares .
Directors & alike appear to own approx. 6--7 % Lets say a total of all around 22 % Who owns the other 78% ?
Certainly not the private investors .
l was under the impression the lnstitutions were the biggest holders with about 80 % of the company shares
Can anybody help & put me right here please ?
Surely most investors here believed in the mining project before they invested , didn,t you ?
OK , so the financials didn,t turn out as expected , & yes , dilution is a kick in the b-------s , but remember on the other hand Sirius is not an oil company drilling for oil & found nothing . ( major share price collapse )
Nothing else has changed & Sirius Minerals mine is an enormous project which has been extremely well planned over many years & is now well under way with some worldclass experianced mining engineers at the helm .
Failing to complete this mine is not in there equation .!!!
As the mine develops in the coming months / year the momentum of interest will grow with it when also accounting the affect the project will be having on the n/e Yorkshire community employment situation , which when considering the goverement have not been to quick to invest any money , they would surely not let the project fail in a worst case scenario of any further future financial events occured
