Many of us were here at the last trading update. Please don't make stuff up. Fair enough if you made a mistake but don't lie in plain sight. Not a good look.

It says 2nd June, Jay. That's useful to know. Really hoping that will include a progress report on the WHO approval for the HCV test, announcement of the POC test development and MOM sales as a minimum. FDA approval would be the icing on the cake.

I am hoping that the PHE press releasing the existence of the Microbiology framework for diagnostics means that they are about to move on it and make some awards this week. And only 9 suppliers in lot 3 for manufacturers, developers and commercialisation. Crossing everything.

No-one said the framework is new. What is new Invest4thelongterm, is that Public Health England have put it out as a press release. Which suggests to me that they intend to action it with some awards.

Traderbuckie, understandable. Everyone's timeline is out by a few months. That's why lots are giving up. I am hanging on until the contract lands after all this time. I totally get why people are giving up. The government have been so painfully slow as have regulatory authorities. But I wouldn't forgive myself if I sold before it blows. Just the nature of investing sometimes.

Published as a press release today on the PHE site. 4 lots. Lot 1 is only 9 suppliers for manufacturing and development and commercialisation. Almost certain to include ODX. Lot 3 looks similar to the Lot 3 on bidstats for 3 billion which GDR are on. 68 suppliers down a bit from the previous total of over 100.
Lot 4 is for testing labs by the looks of it.
Hoping they damn well make some awards from it very soon because the trolls are killing sentiment atm. It will turn on a pin as soon as we get a contract though.

68 suppliers in lot 1 which has been on bidstats for ages at 3 billion. Down from over 100 suppliers noted atm.
I am sure we must be in lot 1. We could be on lot 3 if Ciga and Abingdon Health are still there, through Ciga. We could also be on lot 4 which is for lab based testing by the looks of it.
I hope they hurry up and confirm what's going on soon because the derampers are killing sentiment atm.

Aj, why do you think that? They have clearly explained that they are achieving great results with hospital patients and with patients who experience breathlessness. Hospital trials were confirmed in the Lancet.

I think that test alone will establish GDR very firmly in the who's who of the UK diagnostics industry if the NHS select it as is expected. If and when that happens, there's a long term export market right there too.

Mathersfinger, me too. Such an emphasis on testing! Bloody virus is doubling in a week. The people in hospital haven't had the jab. I can't see them stopping the roadmap for refuseniks.
Big emphasis on new types of tests with genomics too.
Think they will have some anxiety though because every mutation is more contagious than the last. The covax scheme does actually include tests. Hopefully they will give some Innova tests away too ;)
'Get your rapid, regular tests.. and get the jabs'. He got that in anyway.
