MB, well Dr Hopkins did say they have approved lfts- I am emphasising plural here. They have only got 3 tests which have been announced as approved to stage 3 - Innova have got to be out after the criticism they have had from SAGE. Healgen is a blood test and Surescreen are relatively small, already very diversified too.I totally agree Mologic will come into the equation soon enough.

Is a generic term hey? The order for Surescreen is 2 million but more to follow. They are a family firm with multiple diagnostics already in production. Remember the contract award for the management consultancy firm PA Consulting? It's for a contracting role working across more than one firm required to oversee the standardisation of technology and quality assurance. Implies multiple firms. I think Surescreen are providing the design for the product and the RTC will be providing support for manufacturing. There's no way Surescreen can deliver 2 million tests a day over a 3 months period from February to end of April as stated in the PA Consulting contract award. As and when new tests are approved they could also be described as the NHS Lateral Flow Tests. I think this could be a case of all hands to the deck. We will soon see anyway.
