They are becoming a medium sized company and they are no longer a small company which is why the EMI shares would have expired if they weren't cashed in. Captain Swag, I agree that the market is focused on lft antigen tests now. But I am delighted to see that Chris Molloy in today's RNS (a government appointed role and a very well connected, experienced person who headed up key elements of the test and trace including the Lighthouse labs) said that the ABC19 test will be used to support us with vaccine checks. The first big order likely to be worth over a hundred million pounds will be for lateral flow tests. As MB reminded us Surescreen have been awarded £500 million. But there's also a contract on bidstats for £100 million for antibody tests. The delay on the move to buying UK diagnostics has been a bump in the road for us. The tide is turning. Markets take time to register the opportunity. Don't wait until it's all spelled out in capital letters. It's already spelled out. Buy and hold for the shiny stuff guys and gals!

Seaking, the retail price was advertised as between £16 and £20.00 last year with various distributors. We won't get the retail price but obviously ODX will get a much better price for retail sales than for the RTC contract.

I am going to explain one more time about EMI shares. To be allowed to issue EMI shares you must be an SME. That's a company with
1. Less than £30 million asset base
2. Less than 250 staff
3. An independent company- that is you have not had a takeover or acquisition
4. Your business model must not include royalties or licence fees
For employees with EMIs the market value of your shares must not exceed £250 grand. There's no additional value in the shares to those directors if their shares exceed the maximum MV.
They will have been advised to sell. The company can't convert the shares automatically to another type of shares. They have been issued as EMI shares.
In about a nanosecond ODX is going to exceed a £30 million asset base. The press are saying that they are now employing over 150 staff and expect to be employing 250 before April.
This company is at the centre and for of the government plan for mass testing. I am watching BBC news 24 now. ODX are manufacturing the best rapid antigen lateral flow test- guaranteed. The government are buying it. Surescreen have had a contract for £500 billion- they are 1 of 3 including ODX that were selected for the Rapid Antigen Test Consortium.
Now we know that ODX will be manufacturing the best lft antibody test and the government see a role for this too. This is blockbuster news.

Chris Molloy coming out to announce that this test will play it's role in managing the pandemic. MHRA approval is on it's way. Rapid testing is on every news program atm. Channel 4 and Sky news covered Johnson's plan last night. Radio 4 had Nadim Zahawi saying the same this morning. Everyone is talking about February 22nd for the exit plan proposal. Game on for ODX.

It's irrelevant if JAdam is trading. I personally don't believe that he got his average down much from where it was in the first place by trading. He told us ages ago he was trading so whatever. We have a lot of traders on here. He takes a risk on being left behind when this blows, as does every other trader. Not going to labour the point because the geezer is quite funny a lot of the time and I quite like his posts. This share has been volatile because of the level of trading and because the science and plans have kept changing and because ODX are subject to NDAs. All about to change. EMI shares are not allowed if a company exceeds £30 million. Directors sold because they will have been advised to sell. You can't reissue EMI shares as a different category of share once the company exceeds a £30 million asset base. Check it out for yourself. Not about tax avoidance. It's about those directors knowing that they are about to move out of the accepted definition of a small, medium sized company.

The other shares were for non executive directors under another scheme. It looks like a local scheme mirroring the EMI option scheme. I will look into it.

Not really lots of assumptions Regulator. EMI options are only available to companies with assets under £30 million. ODX have signed a contract with the DHSC to manufacture successful lfts as part of the government's plans to get us out of lockdown. The 2 million a day is reflected in PA Consulting consultancy contract. ODX are ramping up their capacity and have doubled their workforce in the last year. Government have loaned them additional equipment. Government have also loaned equipment to GAD and Surescreen. All are reported to have been selected to be part of a new consortium for providing lfts. We will soon find out. 22nd February- routemap out of lockdown.

Regulator, whatever. They had to sell or they will lose money. Because they know that they are soon going to exceed their entitlement to those advantages. They know they have landed a massive contract. That's the significant factor from shareholders perspective.

It's illegal to operate the EMI scheme if you are over £30 million Regulator. So they can't be over it but obviously they could be very close.
