I'm sure you couldn't but just because you or anybody else on this board couldn't do a better job doesn't mean to say that Viljeon is doing a good one. He has had an unimaginable amount of good luck. You need a bit of luck sometimes and I don't begrudge him or us being lucky, God knows you need it in this game. Its whether he has the ability to get this over the line and firing on all cylinders that, for me, is the issue and I'm not convinced he does. He has dropped the ball on far too many occasions to feel confident there will be no more mistakes or missed targets.

The recent presentation is a bit of an odd one to my mind. Why now? They'd already done a placing so no need to push the story or pump the share price. I get the feeling he's been given a kick up the backside by the II's and told to get out there and rally the troops. If they have given him a kick then I suspect they'll be just as disappointed in the performance as some of us were.

The retail market, if it believes the story and has confidence in the people telling the story, will buy in. The muted response of the share price to date tells its own story. A change at the top may be what's needed here to unlock the enormous potential at Andrada Mining.

So it's another 8 - 18 months before we will see tin at 2,600 tonnes. No guesstimates on Coantagab and little in the way of timelines for LR or BW.

Don't forget HarChris, other tungsten explorers have multi bagged 5 to 10 times never mind a tin/tantalum producer that's also a tungsten/copper/rubidium/lithium explorer.

You've got to wonder what the feg is going on with this one. It can't just be AV 's dismal track record of failing to deliver. Is his rep really that bad? What are the II's seeing that we're not? Whatever it is it must be pretty good.

If memory serves me correctly Frontier Mining had the same issue. Large copper deposit but the ore was locked up in clay. They didn't do their metallurgical test work prior to constructing the processing plant and starting heap leaching. A costly mistake that saw them go to the wall.

Agglomeration is a critical pretreatment step in heap leaching, particularly for ores containing a high percentage of fines or clay. It acts as a "snowball" process where fine ore particles are bound together onto coarser particles to form larger, more uniform granules, preventing them from clogging flow channels within the heap, which is essential for ensuring permeability. I would expect the people at Hamerdon to be on top of that this time round.

I don't think anybody doubts the potential or that we have some of the hottest metals in demand right now. Its the character steering the ship with his overly optimistic time lines, consistent failure to do what he says he's going to do, constant fund raising/dilution, and casual attitude to the ongoing erosion of shareholder, in particular PI, value.

I hear what you say regarding tungsten. Problem is we're not producing any.

The RNS said ""....successfully completed a private placement with strategic investors." If it had been with existing investors I think it would have said so.

It might not be chump change to you but to Coffey £3.7m is nothing more than a fart in a hurricane. He's a late stage hedge fund manager so all his moves will be relatively risk off and more about capital preservation. Irrespective of the amount invested I would expect him to be a cautious investor given where he's at in his career hence the pervious post where I suggested he may have had some input on the contents of the earlier RNS.

It will be interesting to see where the shares for the other £4.4m has gone. It will also be interesting to see if AV survives the arrival these new "strategic" investors.

You forgot to add "at our expense".

Dropping the strike price from 9.45p to 5p on the convertibles and management options tells you what? Were these moves all necessary before they could persuade Coffey to take a 4.7% punt. Things are not always what they seem, especially when it comes to AIM.

What this RNS is really saying is we’re not confident we can deliver. We need to extend the runway. SQM will not be making a move on LR anytime soon, Goantagab is not in the bag and we’re not sure we can increase production at Uis to meet these liabilities.
