Its an interesting issue to speculate on but it isn't as straight forward to identify who might be selling, if anybody, as my original post suggests. Canaccord, for example holds, at 145m, a fraction over 10%. If they were to drop below 10%, and they wouldn't have to sell many to do that, they'd be obliged to report having done so. Teck, on the other hand have 14.5%. They could sell all the way down to 10% before they'd be obliged to notify the company. That could release over 65m shares into the market before we would see a TR-1. I'm assuming both Canaccord and Teck, being overseas, would only need to notify the company at the higher 5% threshold.
Neither could be selling and it could simply be down to one or two PIs. Updating the Share holders list in March might clarify matters although it probably won't.
