Projects like KM are usually funded by a combination of bank finance, equity and off-takes. Usually 65% to 70% finance with the remaining 30% to 35% equity and off-takes. Assuming, just to keep it simple and based on the FFS option, $700m then we'd be looking at $310m to $345m for the equity/off-take portion. Lets assume the share price gets up off its arze at some point and reaches the heady heights of 7.5p. If the $310m is all equity, that's £225m, at 7.5p that equals 3B addional shares.
Big asks with the above. First off getting the share price up to 7.5p going into a fund raise would be difficult. An impending fund raise usually knackers the share price, look at Horizonte Minerals, not enhance it. That's before you even consider the difficulty in securing debt finance.
I don't and have never thought that Amur would take KM into production. I agree with CT on this issue, KM will be sold. That's what I believe TB was brought on board for.
