From stt1:
'Whatever you suggest makes no difference to TLY as they are well placed to adapt to any changes as their diversified business model has shown over the past 2 years.'
A very worrying commentary from stt1 and his cohorts who believe that TLY are functioning properly, adapting well and firing on all cylinders.
Thordon believes - his opinion - that NHS 111 vhave not experienced a bad call - his words.
I have related my experience and people here have dismissed it on various grounds.
So, what went wrong when my neighbour's wife was dying after suffering from suspected covid for a week and NHS 111 spoke with her and just said 'call back in three days time - it sounds like fatigue.
The lady died less than a day later.
It was perhaps my mistake because I did not say 'could it be sepsis'.
I have said that NHS 999 are no better but at least they asked life-saving questions:
'Is she conscious'
'Is she breathing'
'Has she lost more than two cup fulls of blood'.
NHS 111 were not asking vital questions, they treated her illness as trivial.
Meantime we are jail-bait for the algo's in America...
doggy,
Bear in mind that much of the English language was greatly influenced by French Court language, with many Viking, Latin and Germanic influences in the background..
Americans recently came along with their independence and made up changes as a sign of 'we are different'.
However, the language they use still rests on a rich cultural heritage.
I never understand why you have to say 'she took the book off of the table' for example.
How is that more efficient?
Spelling orphan depends on which country you are in:
Google and FB are accused of inflating advertising costs for brands.
So surely if they are found culpable then brands using the service should reap the benefits.
Google and FB are basically monopolies which face threats of being broken up if they defy the law.
Same landscape as with Microsoft of having its browser bundled into PC's - effectively excluding the competition.
Should be good for smaller companies if it ever happens!
I agree doggy,
The male royals do come across as rather dull and wooden bunch.
Harry was okay until Meghan managed to set his mind against 'the firm'.
For Andrew, unless sex can be proven after nearly 20 years, it is an allegation by association (with Epstein) only.
Looks bad on the face of it but Epstein was a Jewish financier and had business connections Andrew may have needed in his role as trade envoy at the time.
Prince Harry (Duke of Sussex) decided to quit Royal duties over his adult relationship with Meghan.
He was consequently stripped of certain titles.
Prince Andrew (Duke of York) was stripped of military titles over allegations of under-age sex with a person who wants a second bite of the cherry.
If it is to be a civil case then he must act as a civilian, so now E.R. is not personally responsible for the funding, but does a friendship with Epstein, who was convicted of sex offences, mean that Andrew is guilty by association or is there going to be a repeat of the Pop-Star Michel Jackson type of situation, where it is better to pay up a smaller amount than fight a much more costly court case over months and years ahead?
doggy,
Many thanks for your kind wishes.
About the virus variants, there are too many unknowns to be certain what exactly is happening.
Pfizer has reported that people who have received two doses of its vaccine are susceptible to infection from omicron, but that a third shot improves antibody activity against that virus. This was based on lab experiments using the blood of people who have received the vaccine.
Apart from that please explain why Prince Andrew is being chased by a American woman who alleges improper sexual conduct many years ago?
Was she of legal age at the time and why has it taken so long for her allegations to be examined?
There you go again talking about money when the company is totally incapable of functioning when people are desperately seeking advice.
stt1 said (1'st Nov 2021):
"If you're not sure what to do
NHS 111 can help if you need urgent medical help or you're not sure what to do.
They will ask questions about your symptoms so you get the help you need."
In actual fact NHS 111 are not the answer and are more likely to bad decisions when people's lives are at stake.
Why do we need an outfit that is a total cop-out?
I contracted the corona-virus at the end of November, as certified by an external testing station.
The test did not state which variant I was affected by.
The symptoms were excruciatingly painful joints, which passed in 4 days.
General lethargy lasted somewhat longer.
I had been vaccinated twice and feel that I may have been much more affected if I had not been vaccinated.
I have now had the booster as per medical guidance rules.
Then you have the anti-vaxers who don't know (or care much) if they may be a part of the problem or not.
No one knows exactly the exact transmission routes yet, so it is probably best to go along with medical advice.
doggy,
Rather than just calling people names, which is hardly the stuff of any reasonable debate, at least you are capable of playing more gracefully with ideas, compared to others who mainly use more fiery language and 'shouty' rhetoric.
The commonly available masks are most certainly not capable of stopping all viral particles, the weave is too big, but it stops some particles and ordinary cloth masks have been determined to have an effectiveness of 35-50% and whilst that is not a guarantee against covid or variants, it is certainly much better than nothing at all.
Bongino (bon-jean-o) repeatedly states that cloth face masks are only effective against virus (covid) droplets and not against virus carried as aerosols.
This is misinformation, pure and simple.
Whatever else he is Bongino is not a scientist.
Would that be the Dan Bongino who is a a staunch supporter of former president Donald Trump.
Who believes the election was stolen from Trump.
In November 2020, The New York Times listed Dan Bongino in its top 5 election "misinformation superspreaders".
Tremor don't want to be associated with content that harms their brand.
Qwerty,
You talk a load of rubbish
stt1, through his own stupidity, has lost a lot of money here in the past, and is desperately trying to get holders to trade and lose their opportunities.
A sore loser, writ large!
Pure deception from stt1 - As Expected.
Why does he even care if he sold out at an all-time high (give or take).
The stink of an ulterior motive rests heavy on the nostrils of decent folk.
The sociopath rears its ugly head again.
Devoid of feeling, manipulative and lying - as expected.
It was sarcasm, I think.
From a creature who is eternally negative and dumb as fcuk.
The 999 emergency services were broken well before covid emerged.
Thordon/just
I tell it how it is,
NHS 111 are a cop-out, they failed to diagnose imminent death.
My neighbour's wife died because they refused to help.
They would not recognise 'sepsis' if it hit them on the head.
I did say, in fairness, that even NHS 999 will not come out (with an emergency ambulance) unless you tell lies stating that the patient is unconscious and struggling to breathe and has lost a lot of blood.
What do you not understand?
The systems are not working.
I know you understand the chance of profits and little else.
Shame on you!
