Came across your twitter profile this morning. You work as an analyst for the number 3 quant trading outfit in the world! I would be interested to hear your mathematical and statistical analysis of Novacyt, as opposed to the daily ‘RNS coming’ posts. You must be extremely smart and so I’m sure the board would value your expert analysis...

the AIM market makers are very sneaky. The SP in France has been steady at EU3.50 for hours and yet the AIM MMs have been marking this down quite substantially...

AZN takeover does make sense to me - what are the takeover rules in France? Could explain the SP being held back... i.e. keeping it at a low average for a certain period of time. Although, this is peanuts for AZN, speed over price of takeover would likely be more important to them. Takeover price should be at least £6

True @Crab. I still can't get my head round why Novacyt is valued at just under roughly is expected annual revenue? I keep thinking to myself, what am I missing here? By my calculations, we are trading at roughly at forward p/e of 2! Crazy. The market is still valuing this as a one off max 12 months windfall and assigning no value to future revenue and changed valuations in the diagnostic markets. Can anyone enlighten me?

My view is that this is worthy of an RNS if the likely sales are in excess of £20m (which it is!). Watch this space. Still not expecting a July sales update given last sales update was 3 weeks ago... September interims are going to be so tasty
