I read the Times article last night and was gutted. Having bought in at £2 after the last debacle, I've held all the way down in the hope that a culture change had been effected and that the market would turn. Taken a £35,000 loss on the chin. Ouch. Whilst I believe that the valuation of the group is ridiculously low (as are many retail stocks), I have decided that I cannot remain a supportive shareholder and that my funds should be better allocated elsewhere. I thought Boohoo was far more automated than the manual process described in the article - which I will admit was quite shocking to me. Plus, clearly the company is a long way from being a good employer. The business model is going to come under severe restructuring over the next few years.

Good luck all, I shall follow the story with interest, albeit with an empty wallet.

Inflation peaked - no going back. Fed pivot next. Interest rates to come down as recession (priced in) kicks in. Growth stocks are back. RISK ON! THG biggest holding, biggest beneficiary. I still feel £2 takeover on the cards

Boo rises 15% and this board is dead (21 posts). It falls 5% and the rats are out and there are hundreds of posts. Tells you all you need to know about sentiment. This is at a bargain basement valuation and the upside is huge. I feel that sentiment towards UK retail is at a turning point.

How many shares to the shorters need to buyback ?

Suddenly, the £1.70 bid doesn't look a million miles off. I reckon that a MBO/take private deal at £1.8 to £2 is on the cards in the next 6 months. No smoke without fire. City boys all over this - they will know the banks and law firms working on this. The last to know will be us retail investors...

ASOS, Boo and THG have so far to run - the short levels and low real float = big squeeze. Will take weeks to unfold

LOL - this will bounce 10 times the market - It is the 2nd most shorted share in the UK. Anyone short at this price is nuts. Think we'll see a 100% bounce in fairly short order. Would only take a few percent of shorts to close to double this.
