Yep, agreed on all fronts. Staying mentally strong is key. UK retail punters like exciting, high-risk high-reward punts - like AVACTA. CARD needs some new institutional interest. Anyway, the business is in great shape and I'm very much looking forward to seeing the accounts in April and being part of this year's journey. Darcy W R should be given a good pat on the back!

What an awful day

Sadly I think CARD will now get taken over on the cheap by private equity. It's now ripe for them with a clean balance sheet and with interest rates falling. Liberum’s new fair value is £1.75. Someone could probably get a bid over the line at about £1.30. Not right but that’s what happens in shyyty markets. Anyway I continue with CARD as my biggest position. A bad day and hit to the portfolio. Will be having a couple of glasses of scotch this eve.

Comical share price reaction! Pretty relaxed. Value will eventually show. Not many other listed companies in the U.K. with a pretty much clean balance sheet and CARD’s valuation.

Added 50% of holding at 13.4 p

Some of the £50m profit will be spent of dividend and some held back as cash reserve IMO but yes debt will be negligible.

BTW CARD’s updates are so good, so detailed. No room for uncertainty. Other companies should take note!

Ok track for £517m annual revenue? £47-50m profit. Balance sheet will look glorious in the final accounts, with debt falling massively. Strong operational performance across the board. Strong outlook. A p/e of 7.5 is still looking far too cheap for what is now looking like a real quality company, generating massive amounts of cash at great margins. Online recovering well too. Delighted with the update.

That would be very unfair. We should find out tomorrow early doors. Hopefully the company clear things up for us. If they don’t, there could be an opportunity to get back in first thing after 8…

Superb spot. This is there website - looks like a privately owned Thai company. The volume wasn't low - a few million shares dumped in an hour. Has someone made a big mistake?! I'm intrigued...

Honestly, I do often wonder whether i should just fold and buy blue chip US stocks. So frustrating. GMS valuation is already in the pits compared with rivals.

Please do share any info you find on here. As things stand I’ll be doubling down tomorrow morning (absent anything horrendous coming to light).
